“Happened to be walking by exploring off the water bus looking for good food and not overwhelmed by crowds and this fit the bill…it was quant and comfortable…the French onion soup was fabulous and filling to share and the banana bread pudding was unique and delicious!“

“We got the Carnivore Peak Feast BBQ ($39.95 per person), which included a salad to share, jerk chicken thigh, Montreal smoked brisket, corn, and potato salad. We chose the Garden greens salad, which was refreshing. Loved the almond slices. The chicken thigh and brisket were both surprisingly tender. The chicken thigh had a little too heavy of a sauce, but it was still enjoyable. The smoked brisket has a different texture than what I expected with brisket (it was like a pastrami texture), but it was soft and tasted good with the BBQ sauce. The corn and potatoes were yummy. We got seated next to the window, so the views were so lovely during lunch. Service was slow - it took like 10 mins for the hostess to seat us, and we didn’t get our food until like 40 minutes later.“

“What a great spot to get a bite! The food is classic food stand comfort food- the poutine we got was so good! Prices were so reasonable and the location is stunning and relaxing. The two young guys working were friendly and helpful. Will be back again!
Kid-friendliness: Family friendly food and prices. Great location for kids to let lose & have fun. There is a lovely playground just down the walkway.“

“I go to the Main St location more often because it's closer to home for me, but Burgoo has the best comfort food in the city. If you love cheese, this is the restaurant for you! The after school special (sandwich & soup) used to be a better deal, but it's still pretty reasonably priced. #“

“Tried their beef noodles ? it was pretty good for the pricing but the reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because they do offer some cool homemade stuff to take home if you ever wish like their homemade beef Jerky and their spicy sauce if you want to add it to a soup you make at home.“

We were here for my birthday celebration. Every dish is beyond our expectations! The bread is warm and with creamy butter, French onion soup is a must try, the scallop is cooked to perfection and the duck leg vanished into my boyfriend’s stomach within 3 min since it’s too good! The dark chocolate lava cake is not too sweet, paired with homemade black current ice cream make it fresh!
Love the quiet and calm vibes. Service is excellent. I’ll rate it a 10/10?“

“We visited to this hidden gem.
We had an amazing time. The food was amazing! We especially loved Salmon steak spaghetti and assorted Sashimi.
And we came back to here right next day to try some rolls, it didn’t disappointed us ?
Wish we had found it sooner.“

“Where else can you get Entremet, Korean fried chicken on a dutch baby, waffles and cornflake crusted French toast all in the same place? Consistently high quality, delicious food, good portions and service. Certainly one of the best (if not the best) brunches not just on the North Shore, but the entire Vancouver area. Please don't change anything!“
