“I have celiac disease and follow a gluten‑free diet, so I always have to be careful about cross‑contamination. Before visiting any restaurant, I call ahead to make sure they understand what celiac disease means. I spoke with Raviji, owner of Niravva Indian Resturant, on Victoria Drive, and he assured me the food would be safe for me. Because of cross‑contamination, my wife and I usually avoid Indian restaurants. But last Sunday, we went to Nirvana India Restaurant and we had such a wonderful experience. Opiji came to our table and explained that they prepare all their masalas in‑house and that everything would be safe for me. They even make gluten‑free roti from scratch. It was the first time I ever had a gluten‑free roti in a restaurant. The food was delicious, and the staff were warm and attentive. We also spoke with Opiji, who even shared a simple tip for making gluten‑free roti at home. For the first time, we felt we had found a safe Indian restaurant for us.“

“Hidden gem! JJ Dosa is delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. The mysore masala dosa was great! It was perfectly spiced, flavorful, and the dosa itself was crisp and delicious. The sambar and chutneys were excellent as well. I also tried kunbakonam coffee for the first time after my meal and really enjoyed it. If you’re looking for quality South Indian food, this is a great spot for both dine-in and takeout“

“Whenever I eat out, I factor in several variables if I decide to take the time to write a review. Usually, my reviews are after really good or really bad experiences. One of the things that truly makes a huge impact is value…how much I pay and the quality of food has its own little algorithm that dictates whether or not I choose to eat somewhere again in the future. Well, this place is off the charts…they really know how to do Indian cuisine! The prices were better than I expected and I left with a smile on my face. It was delicious! Great service, clean and although the ambiance may be lacking, the food and price more than makes up for it! Just go and be happy! 😃“

“Excellent food! Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. We ordered the Chicken Naan and Chicken Vindaloo, and both were delicious. The naan was freshly made and came out hot, and the Chicken Vindaloo was rich, aromatic and very flavourful. Really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back!“

“I recently visited DS Indian Kitchen and had a really enjoyable dining experience. The food was fresh, flavourful, and had a great authentic Indian taste. “Delicious dishes in a very comfortable setting. Really pleasant servers who smile and make you feel comfortable. Overall the dishes were exceptional; I love the lamb curry and the vegetable thali. The butter chicken melts in your mouth. Try the happy hour lunch menu if you are by yourself. You get a tray of lamb, chicken or vegetable curry along with rice, naan, potato curry and crispy pakora. The main menu is all worth trying and sharing with friends. A very special place!“

“The decoration is 5 stars the food is ok they have afew options not much.i was there for iftra with my family once the food finished then its done and you have to wait for at least 30 mins till the refill it . We didn’t get chance to try the dessert because there is a small portion like 10 small serving of fermi once it finished they didn’t replace so you have to be careful with dessert. Unless if you want to pay extra for bakery and buy to eat with your tea . Also it was Ramadan every thing is limited ,tea, manto, rice over all for afghans buffet is not bad . It’s was much better if they cook enough and have afew servers“

“I’ve ordered the Lamb Kothu a few times but today’s portion/quantity looks low compared to other days. On a positive note, the flavor and taste is good. The counter girl (the shorter one) has a bit of attitude which is not a good representation of caring customer service.“

“First time dining in and it was fantastic. For appetizers we had fish and cauliflower pakoras. Spices on each were slightly different and both were succulent delights.

For the main course, we had chicken tikka masala, eggplant bharta and butter chicken along with one order each of garlic naan and roti. We ordered mild spice for everything. For dessert we had mango ice cream and mango lassi. We shared some Kingfisher beer too.
