It’s been 20 years since I’ve been here. Originally a frequent customer at the original location.Love the new location and set up and the service was good but not great.When the food comes out, the food server just pushes everyone on the table and offered very little explanation of what was been provided.The actual waiter was great and incredibly hospitable. But the managers need to know that the way food is placed on a table needs to be more deliberate and less intrusive....read full review
We are currently sitting at Vij's restaurant and have just enjoyed a lovely dinner and Vij is so personal, to come to everyone's table multiple times to greet you and chat, it means so much❤️ the staff are exceptional as well. Our family are here to celebrate my wife's/moma's birthday. We will be back soon ! Thank you Vij ??

The food no longer dazzles, suggesting Vij’s is not the national dining destination it once was.I remember when this restaurant was a landmark dining destination in Canada, complete with very positive reviews from respected authorities.Today’s meal was far from that and didn’t provide real value for money. $16.50 for two bland potato samosas, with an extra $3.00 charge for (an admittedly tasty) tamarind chutney sauce?!
