“We want to send a HUGE thank you to the Truffles team for the absolute PERFECTION that was our wedding. The appetizers, food, drinks, dessert, service were impeccable - just absolutely divine and completely exceeded our expectations.
There are a few highlights I must mention:
1. During cocktail hour, not only were the appetizers delicious, well plated, but also many guests commented that staff went out of their way to make sure people had a chance to try different items, even carrying trays far from the cocktail hour area so that no guest was left out. Incredible.
2. Dinner was SO fresh and delicious. Many guests raved about the freshness of the vegetables and how good the salads tasted, especially the Caesar.
3. The salmon was the star of the show, people literally stopped us to comment that the salmon was soooo good and extremely tender, perfectly seasoned. We had seconds of the salmon ourselves.
4. The tiramisu was TO DIE FOR. As self proclaimed tiramisu snobs, we were blown away by how good it was and the fact that it held its shape!
5. The dessert spread and late night churros were great, put out at the exact right time and was perfect to end the night.
6. Huge shoutout to our bartender, he had to deal w many shot requests loll and was in such good spirits (pun intended) throughout the night. Really gave us awesome vibes!
7. The staff in general was 100/10, so professional, so efficient and smoothly executed dinner with zero hiccups. Wine glasses were always full, plates were cleared on time. We are so impressed and in awe of the team.
We had zero notes, only hearts full of gratitude. Please please PLEASE feel 100% at ease working with Truffles, they will only exceed expectations and blow you away. Absolute perfection.“

“The food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is a little bit of a hole in the wall, so I'd recommend getting takeout, but we decided to eat in. Even though we arrived close to closing time, they were still very accommodating and made us feel welcome.

“The eggs were perfectly cooked with the yolk still a bit runny. Hashbrowns were delicious. The bacon slices were huge and thick cut. The vegan sausages had a good flavor, but you could tell they were vegan by their texture. The grilled tomato with cheese, could have used some salt directly on the tomato.
They had a large variety of homemade pastries. The banana chocolate bread surprised me. I ended up really enjoying it. The ham and cheese scone was nice and buttery, but I didn't see much ham inside.
Would definitely order catering from here again.

“This is our first time to order from Kuy’s, a whole pig lechon. Firstly, they were right on time as agreed for delivery and then we took the lechon an hour and a half away to an event and everybody enjoyed it immensely. I got to say that it is one of the best lechon I have ever had. Perfectly crispy skin with just right amount of fat in every bite. The meat had good fat and was juicy and well seasoned. Thank you Kuy’s, we will definitely be ordering from you again.“

“We ordered a thanksgiving dinner for 4 from the Perfect Bite this year and were blown away by how good everything was! We’ve had quite a few different Thanksgiving dinners from catering companies/restaurants and this was our favourite by far. The herb sauce with the mashed potatoes, the stuffing, the confit turkey, the roasted mixed vegetables & the pecan pie were all huge hits. We’ll be back next year for sure! :)“

We ordered the antipasto box as well as the mezze box and we were not disappointed! All of the guests at our event kept raving on about the presentation and the quality. The samosas and falafels were absolutely drool worthy and selections of meats and cheeses were great and unique!!I must also comment on the customer service which is impeccable. “Delicious dishes in a very comfortable setting. Really pleasant servers who smile and make you feel comfortable. Overall the dishes were exceptional; I love the lamb curry and the vegetable thali. The butter chicken melts in your mouth. Try the happy hour lunch menu if you are by yourself. You get a tray of lamb, chicken or vegetable curry along with rice, naan, potato curry and crispy pakora. The main menu is all worth trying and sharing with friends. A very special place!“

“I have worked with the Lazy Gourmet on multiple in-person catered events in the past, and I am so impressed with their at-home and virtual offerings while we’re unable to gather in person. I recently joined the Shakshuka cooking-class and I would highly recommend it! The ingredients are delivered right to your door and you cook along with a chef on zoom. There’s even a delicious cocktail kit so you can sip while you’re waiting for your meal to cook 😉. This would be a great team building activity or a birthday party idea for friends. “I went in to buy some cookies for work charity, and unfortunately I only got to try the oatmeal cookies, but ohhhh man they were so incredible they tasted like my grandmothers. I literally had a moment where I snapped back in time to when I first tried my grandma's delicious cookies and then I snapped back to my desk. They were that phenomenal. I have bought 2 dozen to share at my family christmas party. Cannot wait to eat them again, I just don't know how much I will be able to share!“

A must visit culinary experience! Our family waited with anticipation for the opening and we were not disappointed. Be sure to get the three dips: the mhammara is one of our favourites. Save room for dessert!
