“Vadapav Mirchi is one of our favorite places to eat whenever we visit Vancouver. We’ve been coming here for the last three years, and the food has been consistently excellent every single time.

The Vada Pav is fantastic and takes me right back to Maharashtra. We also loved the Bhajji, Thalipeeth, and Sol Kadi each one was full of authentic flavors and tasted just like what you’d find back home. What stood out the most on our recent visit was the Puran Poli and Amti. The Puran Poli tasted just like the one my mom makes at home, which is probably the best compliment I can give. It’s not often you find that kind of homemade flavor in a restaurant.“

“Lots of meat and vegetables based dishes - very tasty and yummy. Portion sizes are big and reflect the prices. They even have noodles- I will have to try these next time. Staff are friendly but service can be a bit slow but well worth the time. You can sit in the middle area and eat.“

“Ordered take-out for 4 and it was another lovely meal (chef's kiss). The prawn biryani had a generous amount of large prawns and came with a refreshing (and equally generous) serving of raita. The alu gobi was lovely. The paneer in the mutter paneer was tender (nothing worse than rubbery paneer, trust me!). Both vegetable dishes came with naan. Although we ordered everything on the mild side, the heat was still a little intense for a couple of us. I have nothing but good things to say about this little neighbourhood gem. I hope they keep up the good work of serving good food.“

“Nila South Indian restaurant in Surrey is a fantastic spot for tasty, comforting South Indian food, especially if you love dosa and sambar.
The food here is consistently flavorful and feels close to authentic home-style South Indian cooking. Their dosa comes out crisp on the outside and soft inside, with a nice fermented flavour that pairs perfectly with the chutneys. The sambar is delicious, well-balanced, and comforting, and it really brings the whole meal together when you dip the dosa or idli in it.

The garlic naan is: wrap yourself up you're in heaven. Water was room temp to reduce the heat if needed but they brought a carafe which wa appreciated. Again, our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the kitchen and made great recommendations. The kitchen was on WoW mode. The food was extremely well prepared. what was left we gleefully packed to go. Is it good value? The quality ingredients and care I the kitchen says YES. This well above your average Indian Kitchen. I know there are lots of Indian restaurants in Surrey but this one will take your taste-buds places. The food; feels, smells, looks & tastes authentically amazing. The place was packed and busy and we did have to wait about 15 mins but honestly, it was completely worth it. we tried the original samosas and they were AMAZING. You could really tell they’re made fresh and with care. the wait does show how popular and loved this place really is, especially during a busy time like Vaisakhi. if your thinking of going, definitely doo.
