Writing this having just finished their 4 for $18 oyaki like two minutes ago and OMG was that delicious!! Whether you are plant based or not, couldn’t recommend this place more!!!
This was one of the nicest finds in Vancouver - visited Nagano last year and these little doughy parcels were a highlight that I haven’t found anywhere else since. Tangy, chewy, buckwheat dough, with a variety of delicious fillings. Steamed and pan seared.
This is ultimate pocket sized comfort food, if they made a huge one I’d use it as a pillow, nibbling on it through the night.
