“This lovely little bar is just round the corner from where we live and is the absolute perfect local. The drinks are always good, the food is great, (try the all day breakfast!) and the service is lovely. It's cute and cozy in there on any night, and when the summer comes it has a brilliant heated patio to watch the sun go down. I go there with both my husband and sister in law, fairly regularly, as it's welcoming to all. Oh and the music is excellent. Top marks!“
“I recently dug into the breakfast roll at The Frying Irishman in Donnellan’s Irish Bar on Granville Street. It was loaded with tasty sausages, smoked rashers, crispy hash browns, and black and white pudding. Finding Irish food that satisfies my cravings for home can be a challenge. But this spot? It's a taste of home in every bite. If you're looking for some authentic Irish grub to kill those cravings, look no further—this place hits the mark ?“
“ROB ; lemme just start I'm from the states and visiting from LAS VEGAS. This man has helped me and given me every secret gem from the city of Vancouver. Best believe I'm recommending all my American Folks here. Ask about their Top shelf Whiskey & Bourbon you won't be disappointed with the lavender Drink.“
“Staff are excellent! Though I’ve enjoyed most of the dishes, for some reason someone in the kitchen has been WAY over salting them lately (and I ❤️ salt!) but the staff more than made up for the issue. We play D&D there every Wednesday through the Vancouver D&D Collective. Thanks to Craig especially and everyone involved!EDIT AFTER REPLY: Thanks for the reply folks! See you tonight!“
“Food was in good portion and very tasty. We ordered scampi and chips (happy hour $11), the shrimp was scalding hot and crisp, fresh out of the fryer, and the sauce was perfectly in pairing. The hummus and pita were also delicious. Hummus had a strong garlic note which I loved, very fresh taste, I spooned the whole bowl clean afterwards. If I was a decade younger I would lick the bowl haha. The pita was very fluffy and soft, perfect for the hummus. Unfortunately ate the food too quickly before taking a photo. We had a couple of Guinness and an Edna’s Paloma mocktail. The Guinness was poured adequately, with the appropriate amount of head. The mocktail is from a can, with ice and lime slice on the side. The lower level can be quite loud, there’s an upper floor area near the washrooms that would be more quiet. The washrooms were adequately clean on the surface, although still had an odour to them.“
“I love this place!Carlos O Brayan Neighborhood pub It's a fantastic spot for quick lunch while you’re on Westside… food was very tasteful and my personal recommendation is chocolate ice cream cake which is huge?Patio is open so cold beer and chill on Burrard is always ??Overall I’m satisfied customer and can’t wait to come back again!“
“A great neighborhood pub with good food and excellent trivia night on Weds! The only downside is the beer prices; $10.50 for a craft beer? That’s too much; you’ll be $40-in before you even get food. The Korean cauliflower and artichoke dip were excellent. Lots of Irish folk and charm; highly recommend.“
“Food was very good. Nice location with a view of the water. Prices were reasonable especially given the location. I found music a bit on the loud side in our area and the water they served smelled like a swimming pool! Get a filter to remove the chlorine please!“
“Absolutely amazing spot! If you’re looking for a stand alone Irish pub this is the place. All the food is next level, my personal favourite is the stacked corned beef. They have a proper selection of whiskey that is sure to satisfy and of course a great line up of beers.“
