“This is a fantastic and authentic Shanghai style restaurant, their dishes are so tasty, fresh and flavorful 👍👍👍 We feel like we are back to Shanghai. In particular, we love their braised tilapia (葱烤鲫鱼) and beef roll, so fresh and juicy, and really enjoyable 👍👍👍. We have also order these dishes by delivery with some buy one get one deals, including hot and sour soup, big spring roll and glutinous rice ball, they are all delicious. Their service is wonderful
and the staff are very friendly. They also have free parking that is very helpful 😀 This restaurant is highly recommended 😍“

“It’s a mixed bag here. Come for the pan fried dumplings, they do them really well, especially the beef ones with a nice crispy bottom. However, the pan fried buns are just average as they are not crispy enough on the bottom and are more just like eating steam buns. Steamed soup dumplings were average. Cozy with homemade vibes though. Nice chili sauce and tea on each table.“

“One of the better Shanghai restaurants I've tried lately around Vancouver.
Decent, Chinese restaurant type, service. Food came quick and hot. Well petioned and modestly priced. Enjoyed the flavours, the standout dishes were:
Crispy ribs in black vinegar sauce, egg yolkl prawns, drunken chicken. Very nice XLB and the pork with black fungus in spicy sauce with pancakes was very tasty. The pancakes were super thin and delicious.
Will make the trip out to Richmond again for this restaurant.“

“I enjoyed an excellent meal here at Colour See See. The dishes here included a combo with xiao long bao and a wonton soup. The xiao long bao was pork and very excellent. The wonton soup was not my cup of tea but will be if you enjoy that dish. Lastly, my friend and I shared an order of pork filled dumplings. I’ve been told that you can tell if it’s fresh based on how hot it is and how the juice was. As I burned the top of my lips, I can attest that it was very fresh haha. Definitely worth checking out this place.“

“Super cute small Shanghai cuisine restaurant, with a simple menu. The most famous item is the fried (soup) dumplings. The noodle is pretty good too. Flavorful taste and reasonable price. Perfect spot for a quick bite, or sharing with families and friends.
Note: Because of its tight space, large group could be challenging. IMHO, groups of 1-4 people might be best.“

“My usual go to place a couple stalls down, Shanghai dim sum house, is closed on Wednesday, but this place is another great place open with same price and still excellent quality. Crispy exterior and full of soup, the pan fried pork buns are excellent. It does have a slightly different flavour than the other restaurant, which is neither good nor bad; I like both! Next time I will try to XLB as I only had appetite for one dish as a snack on the go today.“

“Personally my go to spot still for XLB and pan fried buns. Both are very juicy and flavourful, bursting with soup inside if you don’t bite carefully. I always drop by whenever I’m in the area whether it’s for a quick snack or a full meal. My only problem is when I drop by and accidentally forget they’re closed on Wednesday, so I have to go somewhere else!“

“This place is fantastic. It’s so delicious. I recommend the Sheng Jian Bao (pan fried dumplings) and Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings).
Most people do take out, but eating there is awesome to make sure it’s hot.
Note: it’s cash only“
