“A joint to be freqented for breakfast and lunch as it is the nearest from museum of vancouver, museum of maritime, space center museum, planetorium and observation telescope visitor center and it does not disappoint. All standard fare with good service and clean wash room, it is also very near to stops of No.2 bus route of Translink which is a vital public transport link for nearby visitors attractions.“

“I want to give a huge shout-out to one of the baristas at this Starbucks — his name is Luke (not sure if he’s the manager or not), but he honestly deserves to be. His customer service is on another level.
I’m very particular about my drinks, and he always takes the time to understand exactly what I like. His recommendations are spot on every single time. On the rare chance I don’t like something, he never hesitates to replace it or make something better. That kind of service is rare.
I’ve visited many Starbucks locations, but I’ve never come across a barista like him. I visit this branch almost every other day because it’s close to my workplace, and honestly, his service is a big reason I keep coming back. I wasn’t a big Starbucks fan before, but now I’m getting addicted — partly because of the drinks and partly because of how well he treats his customers.
Luke has genuinely improved my whole Starbucks experience. He absolutely deserves to be recognized.“

“Mel and Chloe (along with the other amazing staff) are the reason why I come here. I have a location closer to my commute but have started to plan my way into work just so I can stop by the Robson and Thurlow location. I am always greeted with bright faces, and I was pleasantly surprised when Mel specifically recognized me after only a few trips and Chloe soon after that. I know it’s “just a Starbucks” but as someone who works in retail and am surrounded by people all day, I genuinely love stopping by to say hi and grab a little something-something as a break from work or to set up myself up for a good day. Love getting to see Mel, Chloe and the rest of the Robson/Thurlow crew!
Plus, I always do insane custom drinks and they get it right EVERY. SINGLE. TIME… WOW!

“Update as of 02/17/2026: DriveThru TM is still not happy. Not happy, nor smile at all. I ordered multiple items, up-to 4or5 items and everytime he hands me my items, I say thank you but he never budge to return with a single word. Felt personal, since I was just there 3-4 days ago. Hoping he will recognize me but nothing felt special on the CS but kindly felt bad CS.
1st Review: First time going to Starbucks with a very transactional purchase. Not a big deal, it might either be too early on the day (7:30am 😅). And I am just used to them being too friendly which I enjoy, its a very great customer service touch. Just my initial observation from the speaker and did not top up when I reach the window until I left, nothing special.
Dont get me wrong, 98% of my time in this location, I get a great service. But one in Terminal Ave is always consistently great 🤭“

“I donot usually write reviews, but I received very great service from a young gentleman named Conrad yesterday. I didn’t go to my usual Tim Hortons because of roll up the rim. I decided to treat myself to a French Vanilla. I didnot know that Starbucks didn’t have French Vanilla. Conrad explained that French Vanilla Os just Vanilla and Hazelnut Surup. I was very pleased with the taste. He insisted that if i did not like it he would help me out next time. I Am very pleased with the service i received. 👍🏼“

“I have been a regular customer at a different store and wasn’t aware that I couldn’t earn stars there. Mariana provided me with exceptional service—she took the time to clearly explain the app, offered me several options, and prepared a delicious drink. To be honest, I usually order Pike Place Roast beans, but this time Mariana suggested that I try the Starbucks 1971 Roast. It turned out to be the best choice, all thanks to her—it truly made my day.
Even though she was working completely on her own in the morning, she still went above and beyond by serving food and kindly offering me the option to dine in. Her dedication, professionalism, and warm attitude made the entire experience outstanding. Because of Mariana, I will definitely be visiting this store more often.“
“Starbucks is my favorite place in the world and this is the best Starbucks in the world.
I've been going there daily for about two and a half years whenever I'm in Vancouver.
What makes it so great is the staff. First of all, everybody who works there looks like a model. But moreso, the service is just impeccable! In particular, the manager, Trish, is amazing. This morning, Christmas day, when I went in she actually gave me a Christmas present with a personalized card. And the other staff, Taka, Anri, Hanna, Honoka, Jaily, Manpreet, Leo, Joy, Soiri, Henny, and William always go out of their way to make me feel not only welcome, but that they're truly happy to see me.
As much as I hate being in Vancouver (and Canada), the wonderful people at this Starbucks make being here almost tolerable. If you ever find yourself in Vancouver you absolutely MUST stop in here!“

It’s unique because the location is quite large, dry eel attended however not crowded because so many people order ahead, so usual,y there’s plenty of seating. I love everything except the air conditioning.
It wasnt even that hot today(only about 22 degrees) but the temperature this place is way too low. so my head was freezing cold and couldnt enjoy my time :(

“For all its popularity, the number of Starbucks in this city seems to have shockingly dwindled down to the point where you can get your hands on a bbt faster than a Starbucks, which wasn't the case a few years ago.My brother was driving me home when I had a craving. We both had our eyes open for the wavy haired Caffeine Temptress to no avail. Until we both clued in that the Broadway Safeway had a Starbucks and as an added bonus, probably wouldn't be that busy because these pop~up Starbucks never are. We were right, as I was able to immediately put in our orders of a Java Chip Frappuccino and Iced Caffe Mocha and receive them just as fast.Don't let the fact that this Starbucks is embedded in a Safeway deter you as while the menu obviously isn't the full one, the quality is absolutely there. Not to mention you won't have a lineup to contend with, so this location is a godsend. And we'd better pray that it stays open in perpetuity.“
“I recently visited the Starbucks near Kitsilano Beach and ordered a Brown Sugar Oat Shaken Espresso. The drink was made by a barista named Jasmine, and it was absolutely perfect! It was cold, refreshing, and full of rich, balanced flavor—one of the best I’ve ever had. Jasmine is not only skilled at making drinks but also incredibly kind and welcoming. She treats every customer with a beautiful smile and genuine warmth, which made the experience even more enjoyable. “The egg, pesto and mozzarella sandwich was a decent size and had a good amount of egg and pesto.The egg seemed a bit processed, but wasn't bad. I was also excited to try the ube coconut latte, but was disappointed. I couldn't taste any ube and coconut was vaguely there. The customer service was friendly and welcoming. They had our order which was 4 drinks and 3 sandwiches (warmed) ready in about 5 minutes or less. I was extremely impressed with how fast they were able to do this.

“This is my favourite Starbucks on UBC campus! Not only is the staff always friendly and accommodating, they make the best drinks every single time (and when a mistake is rarely made, they always fix it super quickly!). They also don’t charge for no ice (unlike other Starbucks on campus) and offer plastic straws (both big wins for me!). Everyone that works here deserves a raise!!

“I am not a Starbucks fan but this Starbucks in the Safeway store is the best in Vancouver. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They will customize your drinks if you have options. The coffee is always consistent not like some locations where the flavour can vary. They must be good as most days you will see a line up of regulars getting their afternoon coffee or tea. If you time it right they do rounds of samples on a variety of pasteries. Definately worth while to stop in and try their coffee.“

“I've been visiting this Starbucks branch for the past 3+ years, and I've never once had any real issue with their drinks or service. I really think the people working here do what they can in such a busy environment, and I appreciate them a lot for that, especially in comparison to other Starbucks branches where I received questionable service.
Often, groups of Asian elderly can be seen sitting around the tables and talking, as others stand in the queue or wait at the side for their order. Depending on when you go, it can be a little loud and busy, but the baristas here truly do their best to meet everyone's needs! As for the space itself, it's a little on the smaller side, but it can be quite cozy and nice. Seating is offered, with some options being a large rectangular table for bigger groups, and stools at high tables close to the windows. Interior is usually pretty clean and well looked-after.
Drinks are made well, and whenever I order a brownie or little treat, those are fine too. Truly, no complaints 😊
Sadly, I have witnessed an instance where one customer was incredibly rude, aggressive, and argumentative with the employees here, making threats and even shoving the pitchers of cream down to the floor when he stormed out. It was disgusting to see how a grown man could treat working individuals like that, and I hope if any of the employees see this review, they don't feel at fault for his behaviour. To people who behave like that, seriously, get over yourself! At the end of the day, it's a coffee, and if you really have that much of an issue, just don't come back. Move on with your life and stop taking out your anger on employees who hardly have any say in how the company runs, it's that simple!

“One of the cleanest and efficient stores I’ve been to in a long time. We came in just before lunch and usually by this time of day most stores cafes’s are pretty messy, but this stores floors were spotless and the countertops and tables were all clean. The garbages were empty too-which is rare to find in a starbucks these days. Very friendly and quick service, I got my food and drinks in under 5 min-which is great when you have a toddler with you. Will definitely be coming back!!“

“Starbucks inside parkade, more of a grab and go spot while shopping at the outdoor mall. Some seating available, not the most comfortable spot for chatting. The layout is weird and the store is overall small. If you like parkade views this is the spot.
Not sure why but at this location if you order ahead on the app you have to ask for your drink, they don’t put the drink on the counter. They keep order ahead behind a ledge, not sure what’s the logic.
Toilets are small but clean. Accessible toilets here available.“
