Starbucks

It was okay. I'm not particularly fond of the capitalist engine that drives our economy. Starbucks being a big tread in that tire. However, I do like coffee, again Starbucks bitter swill not so much. Unfortunately it is one of those capitalist treads that exploits children, exploits the poor and profits off the misery of millions worldwide. For all its popularity, the number of Starbucks in this city seems to have shockingly dwindled down to the point where you can get your hands on a bbt faster than a Starbucks, which wasn't the case a few years ago.My brother was driving me home when I had a craving. We both had our eyes open for the wavy haired Caffeine Temptress to no avail. Generally speaking, I don't like Starbucks very much these days, but I do like some of the fun things you can do with the drinks and while I was in school I would sometimes go to switch it up from other coffee shops. And so I ended up with a bunch of stars I needed to redeem, and decided to pop in this one for a light breakfast - got a blueberry muffin (the star redemption item) and an iced matcha latte (also used stars to customize).The muffin was as expected, commercially produced...read full review
