Joojak Restaurant is a small Xi’an cuisine eatery with only a few tables and very basic decor. The food is very good and homely, with top notch quality that has stayed consistent over the years. Popular dishes include biang biang noodles, lamb burgers, chili chicken, beef roll, and housemade noodles. The cold spicy chicken and spicy fried chicken are also great, and the spinach noodle with minced pork is favourable. The hand pulled spinach noodles with pork and hot chili oil have a nice chew, and the beef roll has a tender filling with a thin wrapper. The green onion pancake is not greasy. The owner and staff are very kind, friendly, helpful, and attentive, providing fast service. The establishment is very popular and can get super busy, so reservations are recommended during peak times. They only take cash or debit.
