Then my son got me some Merchies for xmas a few years back I was so excited to find out there were still around! . I wish they would open a store in Chilliwack. I now order my coffee on line . I am in Heaven with my morning coffee now. Merchies Best ...is the best!“

“We visited the VanCha Tea House, run by the Charmaro Tea team, during our trip to Vancouver in mid-July. To say the atmosphere was relaxing would be an understatement. Tucked away from the bustle of the city, the tea house felt incredibly quiet, peaceful, and restorative.

Like other reviewers have mentioned, the homelessness in the surrounding area is truly heartbreaking to witness. The contrast between that reality and the vibrancy of this part of Vancouver is striking.

My husband and I participated in the three-pot tea tasting, where we enjoyed a black tea (Jin Jun Mei), an oolong, and a ripe pu-erh. One of the teas came from a 300-year-old tea tree, and learning its history while savoring each cup made the experience even more memorable.

Nina and another member of the team took the time to help us select several teas to bring home and even included a few complimentary samples for us to enjoy. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish.

We can't wait to return the next time we're in Vancouver!“

“Murchie’s is such a charming spot part café, part tea shop, and full of old-world charm. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the comforting aroma of freshly brewed tea and baked goods.

Their tea selection is incredible, from classics like Earl Grey to unique signature blends you won’t find anywhere else. Everything tastes fresh and high-quality. The food is equally lovely—flaky pastries, buttery scones, and sandwiches that are perfect for a light lunch. Afternoon Tea here is a real treat.

The staff are always friendly, helpful, and happy to recommend something new to try. Plus, the shop section is great for picking up loose-leaf tea or beautiful teaware to take home.“
