“I have been a fan of Merchies coffee for many years. I thought they went out of business when the store I used to buy at disapeared. Then my son got me some Merchies for xmas a few years back I was so excited to find out there were still around! . I wish they would open a store in Chilliwack. I now order my coffee on line . “My fiancee and I loved the milk tea & chocolate swirl ice-cream. We created our own parfait by adding strawberry syrup (free), ai-yu jelly & grass jelly too hehehe. We knew the milk tea ice-cream would be good but the chocolate was just as good. The chocolate ice-cream was very distinct. It tasted like dark meji chocolate. Mildly sweet and very much like Asian chocolates!! Next time we shall take a photo because we ate it all before this review LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I always come here for their smoked jasmine macchiato. Now I have to choose between my fav drink and yummy newly discovered ice cream hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Hopefully they will offer more flavours. I highly recommend using Fantuan in-store pay at Shiny Tea. We got about 10% off by using the app. Also, I would ask for a stamp card if you visit often!!“

“I have enjoyed drinking earl grey tea for as long as I can remember. Today I’m enjoying the most fragrant, delicious cup of earl grey tea from Great Wall Tea Co. “Today, on a beautiful sunny day in Vancouver, I was exploring the nicer parts of downtown and stumbled upon a lovely Chinese tea shop. The two ladies working there were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. They introduced me to a variety of traditional teas, and the tasting experience was absolutely wonderful. While itself is a wonderful experience, it is difficult to ignore the heartbreaking crisis of homelessness and addiction in this part of downtown. It is deeply concerning that this area, which represents the historic heart of our city, is so heavily impacted by these social issues. Beyond the humanitarian aspect, it is unfortunate that this situation detracts from the beauty of the neighborhood, making it feel uncomfortable for residents and tourists alike. I truly hope for better public initiatives that prioritize both the dignity of these individuals through proper reintegration programs and the restoration of the downtown area as a welcoming destination for everyone.“

Their tea selection is incredible, from classics like Earl Grey to unique signature blends you won’t find anywhere else. Everything tastes fresh and high-quality. The food is equally lovely—flaky pastries, buttery scones, and sandwiches that are perfect for a light lunch. Afternoon Tea here is a real treat.

“This was a really great afternoon tea experience. The entire presentation was lovely and we loved the two gifts included in the experience. I loved that the customer service was very good and laid back. My friend and I felt we could stay as long as we wanted and enjoy our tea and conversation at our own pace.“

“Popular tea based drink chain from China. The drinks are quite tasty and refreshing. We tried the coconut mango blue and the grape boom drinks. Both very good. The drinks are more expensive than places like coco but the use of tea bases is worth it. The app also makes ordering easy and their points reward system seems quite fair. When we went there was no wait or line compared to Molly tea down the way in the same strip. To each there own but I think heytea has better menu options.“

“I love coming here after a big grocery shop as a reward the incredibly kind worker made me and my sister feel welcomed the first time we visited and then on. I absolutely love the plethora of options and I've found my favorites! Mango cheesecake, pink lady, ask peach yogurt. The options for topping is great. Some drinks can be a little bitter and the slush isnt sweet enough but this place is my favourite bubble tea place 😊“
