50 Best Bakeries near Port Moody

“Just had the dark chocolate mouse with vanilla and salted caramel cake yesterday for the second time and it is the most memorable and the best we've ever had. There is nothing to compare this cake to. We've never had anything as elegant as this at any restaurant, store or hotel. This was superb!!!!!! Yummmmmy!!!! Creamy, moist, delicious and worth every single penny!!!“

“I would give her more than 5 stars if I could! Maria’s cakes are homemade, beautiful and taste delicious! You can’t go wrong with any flavors, but my favorites are the orange cake and brigadeiro brownie.“

“An amazing place and they use the best ingredients on all their bakings. Love them!“

“Great staff, excellent assortment of grocery and deli items as well as tasty italian frozen section. Also love their cakes, which they can personalize on the fly in minutes when you're in a pinch! Pastries are delish.“

“Mochi and Japanese desserts are excellent“

“Amazing pies, cookies, coffees, teas and preserves. Preserves are all natural full of fruit and made right here in our wonderful beautiful Canadian city, Port Moody. Seats inside to enjoy a latte or tea and pie or other delicious baked goods. Pies are a bit pricey, however, they are delicious!

There’s a whimsical gazebo outside with extra seating and pink umbrellas reminiscent of a Mary Poppins musical.

Products are also sold at local farmers markets.“

“Highly recommend! Food, services and the environment are PERFECT!!! Definitely will recommend to everyone around me!“

“Such a great bakery! Finally quality treats worth the extra time at the gym! They are not like most bakeries now days that use excessive sugar and oil for cheaper flavour. This bakery makes everything from scratch and uses quality ingredients ... the only problem is they are a little too close to home....:) I have tried most of the items and have not had one that I don't love....eek“

“I bought a matcha black sesame birthday cake. Blew away my expectations. My wife and I would agree probably one of the best cakes we’ve had.

I called in to place an order and they were very helpful and polite. Nornally I don’t go back to the same establishments for cakes, but i would consider coming back and ordering another cake from them. Slightly on the pricier end.“

“They have perfect flat bread“

“Excellent quality wedding snacks , clean place and friendly staff“

“A small storefront bakery with the most AMAZING treats. Not run of the mill, that's for sure! Huge stuffed cookies, delicious cheesecake creations, donuts covered in cereal instead of sprinkles. There was so much to choose from, I bought enough to feed an army! 🤣❤
I will absolutely go back for more!“

“The location was super convenient for the area. The baristas were great and super friendly. The pastries looked so good. The sandwiches were good. They also have GELATO and CHEESECAKE mmmmm“

“My partner and I arranged to have high tea today and the experience was just PERFECT 👌. They had a table setup for us in the corner where there was lots of natural light from outside and the table just looked so cutely prepared for us. The staff were very friendly and quick to assist us. We chose the Strawberry Sundae tea which was infused with so many flavours making it very delightful to sip on. And when the bakery items were brought over there was a good assortment of yummy foods. The top of the tier was all of the desserts and the bottom was all of the pastries. Both of us did get a bit of a sugar rush, to be expected of a bakery haha. We both highly recommend Cassandra Cake Co. for high tea as well as any custom bakery requests.“

“Ava Bakery has completely won me over! Ever since I tried their barbari bread and halim, I honestly haven’t wanted to get them from anywhere else. The barbari is always fresh, delicious, and has become a part of my mornings everyday. Everything is made with such care and quality and the staff are always so kind and amazing! Highly recommend! ❤️🥖✨“

“After finishing my hearing test a few doors down I wanted to grab a coffee for my trip back to Maple Ridge. I went into a name brand store, was ignored and left. Then I spotted this gem. I ordered my usual black coffee and watched as someone actually ground the fresh beans and then made my coffee in a French press. I joked with them that that's how I make my coffee at home. I added a blueberry lemon scone and had a nice drive home. All 3 staff were a pleasure to deal with, and my snack was delicious.“

“I had the Pain au Chocolat and the ham, cheese, egg croissant and they were both delicious! Making room for my cheesecake stuffed cookie that also looks glorious. Fantastic portion sizes. I’ve tried a ton of gluten free in my 2 decade journey, and that Pain au Chocolat is the best I’ve come across. Cheers from a visiting Alberta girl!“

“For some reason there are only two options for Bao in East Van and Burnaby, and of the two these guys are above and beyond the best. I'll be looking forward to their new location when it's up and running.“

“My family loves this place. We have been stopping by for years. The previous owners saw my son grow from birth to almost 5 now and always gave him a little snack size bun when we pass by. It's his favorite spot. I do have to mention for the new owners, we purchased a box today and there it little to no icing on the buns. Please put a generous layer of icing like the previous owners. It is the best part! I'm sure other customers will notice. All the best.“

“I have been shopping at Rustic Bakery in Burnaby for many years now. Their products are great, home made, fresh and tasty. “Fantastic doesn't even cover it. I knew the cookies would look good, that's why I went with them but I genuinely wasn't expecting them to SMELL and TASTE good. Cookies with this type of icing/decorating are usually hard bland but these were crunchy yet soft and oh so flavourful.“

“Best scone I’ve had ever. Americano with honey was fresh hot and delicious. Worker skipped the tip option which is unheard of but I asked her to add a tip. Menu includes salads as well. Wonderful friendly“
