“Such a great bakery! Finally quality treats worth the extra time at the gym! They are not like most bakeries now days that use excessive sugar and oil for cheaper flavour. “Best croissant I have found in town... and across multiple municipalities. They have a tasty assortment of regular pastries and cakes plus seasonal specials. The also have hand-made to order espresso beverages as well as tea and hot cocoa. Their Maple Sea Salt latte is amazing!!
Take away is normal here, there is also a small inside and outside dining area.
They also sell local roasted coffee beans.“

“My partner and I arranged to have high tea today and the experience was just PERFECT 👌. They had a table setup for us in the corner where there was lots of natural light from outside and the table just looked so cutely prepared for us. The staff were very friendly and quick to assist us. We chose the Strawberry Sundae tea which was infused with so many flavours making it very delightful to sip on. And when the bakery items were brought over there was a good assortment of yummy foods. The top of the tier was all of the desserts and the bottom was all of the pastries. Both of us did get a bit of a sugar rush, to be expected of a bakery haha. We both highly recommend Cassandra Cake Co. for high tea as well as any custom bakery requests.“

“After finishing my hearing test a few doors down I wanted to grab a coffee for my trip back to Maple Ridge. I went into a name brand store, was ignored and left. Then I spotted this gem. I ordered my usual black coffee and watched as someone actually ground the fresh beans and then made my coffee in a French press. I joked with them that that's how I make my coffee at home. I added a blueberry lemon scone and had a nice drive home. All 3 staff were a pleasure to deal with, and my snack was delicious.“

“My family loves this place. We have been stopping by for years. The previous owners saw my son grow from birth to almost 5 now and always gave him a little snack size bun when we pass by. It's his favorite spot. I do have to mention for the new owners, we purchased a box today and there it little to no icing on the buns. Please put a generous layer of icing like the previous owners. It is the best part! I'm sure other customers will notice. All the best.“

“I walk by this bakery on my daily lunch walk and it always smells amazing. I finally came by on the weekend to check it out.

I came in around 930am which might explain why the cases were a bit empty, but there was a nice bread and cracker selection on the counter/shelves.

We got the baklava to try and it was really good! Loved the crispy pastry and the spice/flavour. Would get it again.“

“I often pop by here for lunch as it's no doubt, one of the best banh mi deals in town. Around the $9 mark, you get an absolutely stuffed banh mi.
Service was standard, nothing outstanding. Be mindful of lunch hours on weekdays as they get quite a few highschoolers pop in.
I usually grab and go as it's not really a place you would dine in with it's limited seating.
Lemongrass chicken and house special are always my go to.“

“recently i purchased banana loaf. whole wheat cranberry muffins/ cheese scones/ raisin scones and shortbread cookies which are bought every year all were excellent. however, the shortbread were lacking---no butter perhaps? they had a strong taste of the inside of the oven---i had several and composted the rest/ please do not post as everything else was perfect and i shall continue to shop here. with respect“

“My daughter had ordered the delicious dacarons from Earthling Foods in December, and then received a notice for a class there in February. We both attended and had such fun. We had hands-on instruction about making small dacarons and a mini-cake, and the experience was so enjoyable, both in instruction and atmosphere. “I have been here many times and each time we buy the cream puffs!! They are amazing so good that my son opted out of a wedding cake and did cream puffs instead of a cake. I prefer the original ones, the strawberry and mango ones are good too but the original is the best. If you want to pick up fresh you can’t pickup till 1:30pm you can pre order if you need to. “Small victory never disappoints. The store smells just as delicious as the drinks taste. I usually get a coffee, but today I decided to get a matcha, and I definitely will get it again. The matcha is bright green and tastes heavenly. The coffee is also good, and you can see the baristas making the fresh espresso in front of you. The pastries look amazing, even though I have not tried them yet. If you haven't gone, there is lots to do in the area, as it is right in the middle of Brentwood Mall.

If you are looking to study or do work here, I do not recommend it, but it is a good cafe to sit for a drink and chat.“
