Really good sourdough loaves, from buckwheat to garlic to 100% rye. The pastries are not too sweet and sizable, but you do pay for it $$$. It's because they use the highest quality ingredients, including butter. They also have lunch and dinner takehome options, such as cabbage rolls, crepes and borscht.
This is a hidden gem. There are countless options for breads and gorgeous baked goods. We took advantage of the "2 containers of soup and a loaf of sourdough bread for 25 bucks" deal (we brought home borscht and goulash.) We also decided to stay and sit outside for lunch. As soon as we tasted the first spoonful of the borscht, we knew we were in for a delcious meal!
