Bubble World Coquitlam

As a returning customer, this was surprisingly disappointing.

I ordered braised pork rice plus an extra portion. The main portion that should have come with the dish was missing. When I called the store, they refused to acknowledge the issue.

Mistakes can happen, but refusing to take responsibility is what lost my trust.

The service needs improvement. Lots of seating and ample parking. The food was tasty especially the baked fried pork rice, but nothing memorable. Add $5 to make the main a combo. For the pricing, the portions can be bigger.

The recent price change at this Bubble World is a total rip-off. We used to enjoy 3 cup chicken meal with combo which came with 5 small items of egg, seedweed salad, dry sliced tofu, Taiwanese sausage and egg roll.
But since this latest change of price has increased, portion is cut short Be very careful when you order combination. you now only get a spoonful of terrible coleslaw salad & 2 tiny egg rolls for additional $5.

Their service were ok and the servers were polite but the table behind us , 😵😵❌❌ were loudly blowing their noses at the table. It made us feel uncomfortable. It would have been more appropriate to step away to the restroom. The dining area is for eating, not for loudly blowing noses in front of others.

This place was quite disappointing. Their bubble tea is OK, but the food is not great.
Prices for food seem decent, but portions aren’t very big and food is all quite bland.

Would recommend going to any of the other food places around instead. Take a short walk to Henderson Mall for more options and higher quality.

Stopped by on the day of the BC Dumpling Festival, which likely explains why it was surprisingly empty. Ordered a few marinated dishes and stir-fries for takeout — everything was solid and exactly on par with other Bubble World locations. Reliable, well-executed Chinese comfort food. Would come back.

Tonight we’re having dinner here. All the food is delicious, the bubble tea isn’t overly sweet it’s perfect, and the prices are affordable.

The restaurant feels dirty but the food themselves taste ok

It took 30 minutes just to get two takeout bubble teas, even though the place wasn’t busy. The cashier was grumpy and acted like explaining the ordering process was a burden. The drinks were fine, but the awful customer service means I won’t be returning.

Wow! The food here is delicious and the portions are generous. Would recommend going with the combo upgrade as it gives you rice and sides which are diverse. I received some Taiwanese sausage, seaweed salad, wood ear salad, tamago egg, spring roll, greens, and rice with my sweet and sour pork combo and each item was bursting with flavour and tasty. The sweet and sour pork was saucy with pineapple and bell peppers and the portion was quite generous.

The Taiwanese chicken nuggets were authentic and tasted just like getting them in Taiwan with the flavour of fragrant spices. The milky hot pot was creamy with lots of vegetables and ingredients.

Love how the menu is so diverse with so many options to choose from to match your mood. They have bubble tea, smoothies, noodle soups, hot pot, rice dishes, fried snacks, and more! Service is basic and the washrooms could be fresher and cleaner though.
