I don’t like the new menu and drinks!! I usually love their chai latte but they changed how it’s made and now it taste like muddled water! So disappointed!

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile but I end up coming too late to this the area but today I was had a great meal at Narita's Japenese restaurant in the plaza and wanted a latte to go. So I went to this coffee shop. Ordered and went out with drink, had a few sips of the latte and it was barely lukewarm and at over $7 with tips/soy milk. I believe the hot drink should be hot. So I went back into the shop and let the barista know that my latte was not hot. He gave me the look and then put it into the microwave to heat up....??? (Shouldn't he make a fresh one?) Well he put the drink in for too long and it exploded in the microwave and made a mess in the microwave and now figured he couldn't save that drink and give it back to me and then said ' I will have to make another one now' with no interest or interaction he made it and gave it to me and said 'check this one to see if it's hot enough'. Wow! Very, very bad customer service from this guy. No apologies or acknowledgement. Then I saw another customer with baby in her arm and other hand holding a take out box with a piece of cake asking for a spoon ... He just blank stare her and she was interrupting his day. There are so many great local cafes, that I will continue to support them but not this one.I regretfully put a tip when I paid for my latte even though I got a take out here.If I could give zero stars for service I would.

I was a little excited to visit here after the good reviews by other customers. When I entered the shop, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. After looking around the store and the menu, I noticed that this was a Korean-owned place, which is normally a good indicator for quality food with a good vibe. (This was soon confirmed by the music that was on - Kpop music)My wife and I ordered a drink each - both market signature drinks, and I also ordered bulgogi wrap, and my wife matched cream puff.We got the food, and we're both impressed by the look of it (look at the picture). However, upon tasting it, I must say that all my expectations and excitement were gone. The wrap was very salty, and the drink was somewhat watered down - which was not common at a quality-bean coffee shop.It could have been us not knowing the standards of local coffee shops in Coquitlam since we are from Langley (Willoughby) area. But I was disappointed at the quality of the food. The staff were excellent and very welcoming and helping, but the product they sell is questionable, in my opinion.

Went at noon on a Tuesday for brunch but they had no waffle or benny option which was disappointing. Got the bulgogi bowl but the meat wasn't hot and the bowl in general was underwhelming.Got a cream puff for dessert which was OK but the pastry didn't taste that fresh.

it takes them 30 mins to make a pasta… i couldnt understand at first but i waited anyways… also the tables were kinda dirty so we had to clean them ourselves. however their food is just so good and smoked salmon bowl fills u up just perfect. they had this little shaking table that adds nice excitement to our dining in experience thus the 5 stars. def coming back again!!!! + baristas were so kind

I asked for dark roast coffee switched from medium roast but I think the cashier got confused or other back staff probably got it wrong and gave me medium roast brew coffee which tasted like water. I wasn’t satisfied with coffee taste bc this can’t be dark enough. If I am tasting this mild taste, I could have drunk regular coffee at home.

We dined in for lunch today and were sorely disappointed by the service and food. After ordering, it took 25 minutes to receive our drinks, which were only 3/4 full and topped with foam, 45 minutes for the breakfast platter, and over an hour for the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. We had to ask for our orders multiple times and were told it would come ‘soon’. Both plates of food came cold and were not worth the price. It was quite busy and they were probably understaffed. If that was the case, some sort of warning that there was a backlog or long wait should have been given.

Waited for half an hour and didn’t receive our drinks nor our food. Staff were clueless. Do not go here.

The place has stylish interior but I felt the food was not fresh or tasty. We had the c market breakfast plate. The fruit looked old, eggs rubbery and bacon was probably microwaved. The brewed coffee tasted very sour, Hojicha latte was pretty tasty and came with two little biscuits. There washroom floor was very dirty, no toilet paper and had flies. It is a self service place but the staff will make no attempt to help at all, like serve minimal cutlery and napkins when bringing hot food. Oh and did I mention how overpriced everything was? Definitely not cafe prices for what you’re paying for.

Despite the buzz around this spot, our experience didn't quite match the high expectations set by its reputation. The staff and ambiance were welcoming and pleasant, a stark contrast to the rather unremarkable food we encountered. Our timing was off for the much-anticipated brunch, and to our disappointment, they had run out of Bulgogi cheeseburgers. The strawberry latte, although decent, presented a minor challenge as integrating the strawberry jam with cold milk proved to be a tedious task. The most notable letdown, however, was the k-chicken burger, with its overly dry chicken that seemed far from freshly prepared. It wasn't an awful visit, but unfortunately, it didn't inspire a return trip from us.

Food is ok.For the space and number of tables, they don’t have enough staff. They forgot to prepare one of our dish and didn’t put in another one while placing the order. 30 minutes and still waiting for one of the items in our order. Sausage roll was served cold. And the response we got was just that they are short staffed. Well, if you are short staffed, would be best to hire more people for the space you have or have limited seating rather than providing poor service.Looking at the other reviews it seems that there is a trend here of forgetting items in the order. Would not recommend this place.

The ham & egg croissant is good but the truffle mushroom that cost $18.95 a plate is very disappointing. The sauce is too watery. It is not as even as describe on the menu as creamy. I wouldn’t order that ever again. The drinks are good. Overall, I am very disappointed at the pasta.

Average food, but a bit overpriced. I tried their breakfast menu, and lavender Latte which was interesting.

I had a very nice brunch here the other day. The eggs Benny was spot on and the toasted marshmallow latte was delicious. Plenty of space and comfortable. I’ll be back.Kid-friendliness: I saw they had high chairs stored in the back and a sign said there was a change table in the accessible bathroom. My kids sat comfortably on the tables. They have booth sitting.
