Ordered an expensive cake after telling them that I wanted a flavourful moist cake for my wife’s birthday. They recommended the lemon cake. The cake was very dry and relatively flavorless. I think it was already a few days old. I returned 3/4 of the cake the next day. Little to no response. Really disappointing. Will not go there again. I rarely leave bad reviews.

First time visit and came by twice already - Cute little bakery with seating inside - Was recommended to try the Buttermilk Scone with cream and jam ($1 extra each was worth it) *Great recommendation* - I Enjoyed the Macaroons, Cupcake and cookies so far - Place was welcoming and service was lovely Will be back again!

I briefly entered this place a few years back and haven't returned since. The other reviews about the service being unfriendly is true. We walked in and the girls there flat out ignored us. Then when we got one of their attention and tried to ask about the afternooon tea, she said we needed to book it beforehand, but the attitude was really weird and full of distain. I didn't understand what her problem was. It was quite bizarre. Guess they didn't want me to spend any money there!

Finally found a proper chocolate cake :) the cheesecake was also very delicious and the Ube cupcake was very nice. Not too sweet and you can taste the Ube flavor subtly.

The price is not worth the taste. Cake is very dry and has no taste. Decor is really bad as well, I had to make my own add ons but the taste and dryness was my biggest issue. I was not pleased with the cake that I received for my daughter’s birthday. Totally not recommended

I asked for a custom cake. They had good communication and were very responsive through email. The cake was exactly what I asked for and tasted great!
After finishing my hearing test a few doors down I wanted to grab a coffee for my trip back to Maple Ridge. I went into a name brand store, was ignored and left. Then I spotted this gem. I ordered my usual black coffee and watched as someone actually ground the fresh beans and then made my coffee in a French press. I joked with them that that's how I make my coffee at home. I added a blueberry lemon scone and had a nice drive home. All 3 staff were a pleasure to deal with, and my snack was delicious.

Cakes n Sweets is amazing! I have ordered custom cakes from them for a few different occasions and evey time they are better than I could have imagined. This cake was a for an engagement, and the final product was even better than the reference photos. It was light, delicious, and beautiful and made the day for the couple so special !

My cousin got a selection of scones to go and they were the best scones I have ever had. Lemon blueberry with a little glaze, plain and cheese. Crispy on the outside. Chewy on the inside.
