Loses out to competitors of the same style restaurant, but staff was friendly and good service for a HK cafe.

This restaurant keeps giving me incorrect order I’m so pissed off. I ordered prawn and mushroom omelette and I get chicken and tomato … twice! I called the restaurant and asked for manager and the lady says call back later

Copa Cafe is my go-to when I live nearby and don’t feel like cooking—huge menu with everything from HK-style breakfasts to sizzling plates and sandwiches, so you can always find something casual and comforting.
Location-wise, it’s super convenient for Coquitlam residents, with long opening hours that make it an easy choice for casual meals or late breakfasts. Service is straightforward and efficient, and they clearly know many customers by face.
One practical tip: they have a membership program that gives you 10% off, which adds up quickly if you come often. Just note that starting December, the annual membership fee is increasing from $18 to $20 — still very reasonable if you’re a regular.
Overall, Copa Cafe isn’t fancy, but it’s reliable, comfortable, and exactly the kind of place you’re glad to have close to home when you don’t want to cook.

Food not bad, fairly authentic HK style food. Breakfast is very good , the omelette is soft and not too greasy, many options to choose from. My biggest disappointment is the hygiene level of its washrooms & the hallway leading to the washrooms - so very dirty, the flooring has become almost blackened with grease - a sickening sight indeed and makes one doubt the cleanliness of its kitchen. Its bathroom is the worst I have seen among Chinese/HK restaurants. For its bathroom, it deserves a negative rating.
Yummy food

We purchased the VIP membership, otherwise the cost of eating here would be a little high. Nice to have the discount and extra perks.
