Bad attitude

Food was great, not awesome. Pizza was proper. Salad was tasty. Even though service was good, they flipped the tipping options in the machine to charge 22%. that wasn't cool at all

Beautiful place with great staff! Unfortunately not to my tastes, I've been there several times and never particularly enjoyed it.

Doppio Zero is a Doppio Ten!!!
We ordered pizza for the family the other night and the pizza was delicious!! Authentic Italian pizza. Tomato sauce was to die for !! We had the procuitto and arugula and the traditional margarita pizza. If ur in the mood for authentic Italian pizza and not up for your fast food pizza joint Doppio Zero is ur place in Coquitlam !!

Ordered an appetizer and two mains. Appetizer came in, but an hour later still no mains. They came to our table with a debit machine trying to get us out but we didn’t even get our food. Manager started to gas light us saying they make the food after you finish your appetizer but we finished 40 minutes before and all tables after us got there food including appetizers… got our diet cokes 20 minutes in as well

Zero stars for Doppio Zero. Ordered 2 pieces of lasagna, 2 Italian limoncello cheesecakes and one penne. No napkins or cutlery included. Tiny portions. Lasagna was awful - salty, burnt ground beef, cheap ingredients and the tiny piece was $25 before tax. The cheesecake lacked flavour. We felt gross afterwards and it's a shame because we'd heard great things about this place being authentic. Perhaps we ordered the wrong things, though my attempts at lasagna have tasted better - and I am a horrible cook.

I love going here on a sunny day and sitting on the patio. It's a cute pizza and pasta place, a Coquitlam must try. I adore their olives. Pizza is good if you like thin crust, which I do. The owners and operators are nice and they make the place.

I was in charge of choosing a restaurant and making a reservation to celebrate my sister who would be getting proposed to by her boyfriend. I decided to give a smaller local business a try instead of choosing a bigger franchise chain. They called me a few days before to take my credit card to hold the reservation which is fine, but on the phone they mentioned larger parties would be an automatic 20% gratuity. I just realized now on the confirmation email that it only mentions 18% not 20%, yet they charged us 20%. So idk if they are consistent with what their gratuity policy even is.

They also told me on the email they would make it special for us, since it was an engagement celebration. When we got there, none of the servers congratulated the couple nor did they do anything that made it extra special for them.

We even brought a cake but didn't end up eating it there because the server told us there was a $30 cake fee. Which I thought was ridiculous.

The food was good but the experience was mediocre. Made me regret choosing a smaller business for the celebration, as we left feeling like it was just a regular get together lunch and nothing special.

Tried it out because most Italian places are closed on Mondays. It turned out to be a great place, the staff were kind and the food was good, perhaps a little overpriced for the portion sizes but good flavour
