Oh what an awesome, overlooked place! No one's there when I come in, and they're really missing out on all this amazing food (and lovely Balkan atmosphere)! Tell everyone you know. So far, everything I've had on the menu is delicious. It's an especially lovely place for comfort food during the cold, rainy winter season.

Took my sister here for her birthday dinner and had a wonderful evening! The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic. Cozy decor that makes you feel like you are dining in a friends home. We ordered the Vayat Platter and it was absolutely perfect. The service is warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome and well taken care of.I will definitely be returning this restaurant in the future for a date night or other special occasion.

Quality European food, fair pricing, generous portions and quick take out service for a Friday evening. We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and can’t wait to try more on the menu + share this gem with family and friends. We have two young picky eaters that enjoyed their entire plate, one actually went to lick his plate haha that’s rare. Thank you :-)

Tried this place for the first time, on the platter (for single person) and goulash. Fantastic! The goulash was the best. Not salty, not bland, just perfect! Lots of tender meat. Pork? Mash potato was heavenly. Paired very well with the goulash. For the platter, the pork loin and skewer meat thing was dry. One of the sausages was spicy, did not like that. Menu should specify it's spicy? The cheese meat thing was great. Pork belly, yum!

Service was a bit slow, but the meat was cooked and seasoned to excellence! It is a great place if you are on carnivore diet. Could add more vegetable choices.

Best restaurant in Metro Vancouver. Tasty house made food, friendly environment, nice decoration and customer service is perfect. Puff pastry and veal soup are great.

Amazing food at a good value! Huge meat platters, amazing schnitzels, delicious cabbage rolls! Serbian food is very familiar with those who like certain Polish, German, Balkan and other nearby region's food. However, it has it's own unique flair...especially when consuming copious amounts of rakija (fruit brandy).

Terrific food. Friendly owner/server. However a little slow as she was the only one working front of house. Make sure you get the log with the cheese and meat inside! Wish they had some region specific beer.

It was very disappointing after reading all the great reviews. The entrance is very dark and has no lighting so it is difficult to spot this restaurant at night. You walk up 3 steps before you enter the dining room. The verification for proof of vaccination is very nonchalant. She barely glanced at our proof of vaccination and ID. If we did not have it open and presented it I doubt that she would have asked for it. The room is a decent size but when we were there on a Friday night there were only 2 other tables occupied the whole time we were there. The service was decent. They have a very limited wine list and the 2 decent wines they had were drastically overpriced at $60.00 a bottle for wines that are generally around $40.00 - $45.00 at other restaurants. The servings as others have mentioned are huge. We were uncertain as to whether to order the puff pastry so our server suggested that we get half puff pastry and half corn bread. The puff pastry was very good it came to the table nice and hot and was very tasty. The corn bread was not very interesting. My husband and I decided that we would each order a different entrée and share. My husband ordered the hunter schnitzel and while it was a large serving it was just not that interesting. I ended up leaving most of my portion after the first couple of bits. I ordered the vayat platter and it was definitely the better of the two dishes. The meat items that they serve are not the same as they show on the menu online so be sure to ask what they have. They did not have the smoked pork belly but they did have a slice of bacon. On the platter I especially enjoyed the chevaps, the house made sausage and the chicken. My husband also enjoyed my entrée more than his hunter schnitzel. They also gave us a warm dinner roll with our meal. The prices are fair, the prices are decent and the service was okay. I was full after basically having just a half order of the vayat platter for one. I think I would have enjoyed it more if there were more customers. It was pretty strange eating in a large room and only seeing 2 other tables occupied the whole time you’re dining. Others have mentioned live entertainment but there was no entertainment while we were there. It’s unlikely that we would return. The food was okay – not great. I was uncomfortable with the fact that the check for vaccination was so lackadaisical and I’m also uncomfortable with being the only customer in the restaurant for most of the evening.
