Gooi-Ga (구이가) Korean BBQ

We has always walked by this restaurant, decided to give it a try.
You order at the table electronic menu, server was very friendly & helpful. My girlfriend can only have chicken, we asked the server whether the kitchen can accommodate her preference. A definite “Yes”, she ordered Bulgogi ( instead of beef, they sub it with chicken). She enjoyed the meal very much!
I had my favourite “Soon dubu Jigae “ with beef - a stew with veggies, beef & soft tofu. It was yummylicious, next time, I will have to order it spicy! Hubby had his favourite cold noodles with pork collar.
Service & food was good, lunchtime on a weekday got very crowded, lots of people ordered the BBQ set for lunch special.
We will be back!

My husband and I went here for the first time, and we are incredibly pleased. The food is amazing, delicious and authentic! The side dishes are deliciou, and the meat was tender. We will be back!

Arrived at about 7:20 PM and waited 40 minutes to be seated. The restaurant is very small and the 2 servers were very busy trying to do everything which can make clearing the tables slower. Didn't do BBQ but it smelled so good.

We got the Cold Noodle combo w/ Pork Collar, Spicy Squid w/ Rice and free soup and the Spicy Pork Intestines. The portions were big and the spicy food was surprisingly mild relative to 'Korean spicy standards'. Everything was pretty good and was nice to eat on a cold day. Recommend coming after 8 PM for 20% off the entire menu.

Food tastes good, wish there was more of it. Ordered a bogo soy chicken on rice and each meal came with about ten small chunks of chicken

I recently had dinner at Joo-Ji and really enjoyed the experience overall! The food was fresh and flavorful, beautifully presented, and came out quickly. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable — clean space, nice lighting, and a relaxing vibe that made the meal even better.

Our server was especially kind and attentive — super friendly and helpful throughout the evening, which made a great impression.

The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that the combo sets don’t allow for substitutions. It would be nice to have the option to replace an item you don’t like with something else. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to friends looking for good food and service!

The meat was generally very fresh, and the interior, service, and taste were all excellent. I think I’ll be visiting often.

Good place, good price. Order BBQ Lunch set is big enough for 3-4 people.
BBQ Lunch set can add a Korean cold noodles just 10$ also, it’s also very good taste. The noodles are very chewy and elastic. Love this place, comes many times.

This has been one of our favorite restaurants, and we usually order the BBQ menu. For the first time, we decided to try a single dish, other dish was ok, but the Spicy Beef Short Rib quality was disappointing. The meat looked discolored, had a bad smell, and was completely lacking in juiciness, as if it had been stored too long. I had hoped to introduce this dish to my husband since he had never tried this food before, but we were both let down.

That said, the other menu items have always been enjoyable, and we still consider this a good place to dine. One small suggestion: it would be nice if guests could choose between tea or water when seated.
