Not sure why anyone would visit hons anymore. Liked them 15 years ago. I think their 15 year plan was to take away quality incrementally each year till you had nothing but the lowest quality Chinese food in town. There are much better alternatives out there folks

Overwhelming flavor from excessive seasoning. There is no balance. Pork with black pepper tastes like a mouth full of black peppers and nothing else. On the milder dish like the wonton, you can tell the quality of the ingredients that was used.

We ordered through Skip the Dishes and received our meal on time. During unpacking our food, we already started to feel as though we were over charged for what we received. Everything appeared to be small portions for the cost. After eating we felt like we purchased premade food from a grocery store freezer. The noodles seemed to come straight out of a plastic bag....never in all the years for ordering and eating noodles have we seen or been served something like this. Highly disappointed...first & last time. Basically order at your own risk.

The restaurant is clean, and their food is top notch. The Won-Ton soup has shrimp inside.

Has there been a change in ownership?
I’ve been a regular at Hon’s and always enjoyed the food, but my recent order was honestly very disappointing.
The crispy noodles with beef in black pepper sauce tasted like the noodles were old maybe even had that stale, oily smell. The deep fried squid… I don’t even know what to say. It was just not good…
Even the shrimp fried rice, which I used to love, didn’t taste the same.
Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to Hon’s anymore….what happens
Hon’s…

Food was good but I asked if they had Biang Biang noodles. They did not know what that was. When I asked for wide noodles the noodles they used was slightly wider than ramen.
Nice, spacious restaurant with quick and delicious service. I have been coming here and ordering food from here for decades now and I recommend it. The Buddha's Feast dish is very good and their noodle dishes are great regardless of the combo. I recommend Beef Chow Fun as well.
Great service with authentic Chinese dishes. Nice place for family gathering!
