Very spacious but cozy cafe located in a lovely neighborhood in Burke Mountain. I’ve been here to grab a cup of coffee and pastries, cakes in the past which have been delicious! I’ve decided to try their food from their kitchen menu and unfortunately couldn’t say the same.

The chicken sandwich was bland and had no seasonings. The french fries tasted like it was frozen, had a very starchy and artificial potato flavour if that makes sense. It reminded me of eating the frozen french fries you buy from a bag at the grocery store for $3. It wasn’t terrible… just wasn’t worth the $24 they were charging for, it’s definitely overpriced.

I recommend just stopping by for drinks and treats. The kitchen menu needs a bit of improvement for the price they’re charging as it’s all style without substance.

Such a cozy gem in the heart of mountains. The staff are super friendly and attentive, the food is great, coffee tastes amazing, but more importantly it has immaculate views of the city. Would definitely recommend a visit here

One of our favourite spots. Still relatively unknown with a great atmosphere, well thought menus and food that tastes homemade. You won’t go wrong.

IBEX Cafe + Kitchen is such a cozy spot, especially on a rainy Vancouver evening. The food was hearty and delicious, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the staff absolutely wonderful. A special shoutout to Bianca, our server, who was so sweet, attentive, and genuinely helpful—she made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

The view from Ibex Café + Kitchen is stunning, the coffee and bakery so tasty, but what really impressed us was the exceptional service we received from Monica. We were a large group of 8, and we all arrived at the same time with different orders. Monica handled everything like a pro! She was friendly and efficient, ensuring that everyone received their order in a timely manner. We also had an interest conversation, triggered by her curiosity of seeing us all reading our books, adults and kids alike. Her excellent service really made our dining experience stand out. I would highly recommend Ibex Café + Kitchen to anyone looking for great food, amazing views, and top-notch service. Thanks, Monica, for making our meal so special!

What a cute space. Bright area and lots of seating area. I noticed an outdoor patio space too which is great for the summer time. The area is not super busy with traffic and noise which is great even though it’s in a residential area

They seem to have lots of options on their food menu from soups to flatbreads to tacos etc. they do have some alcoholic beverages (beer and wine if I’m not mistaken?). For other drinks, they have options for teas, coffees, refreshers, some blended options (?). They do have some non dairy milk options too for anyone that needs it. We tried the Berry Matcha drink (with almond milk) and we also tried the Thai chicken bao buns and Korean Bao Buns. The food and drink we tried were very delicious. I wish each bao bun had a little bit extra flavour like maybe a sauce or something but otherwise it was really good and enjoyable.

The staff were wonderful and very nice. Great service!

The food was decent, but I felt it was not worth the price given that it was mostly self service and we had to assemble and clean the table ourselves and order at the counter. Also the shakshuka was more of a tomato soup as opposed to a tomato sauce (very watery) which isn’t typical for this dish.

The food? Exquisite. The ambiance? Trendy. The seating policy? Musical chairs, but only I had to move.

It's a lovely place, however I find it pricey. 10+ tax dollars for a small sliver of cake for example or 15 dollars+tax for a small wrap. Portions are small, food is a hit or miss. I tried the Fremont salad it was good, the Verde breakfast not flavourful.
