Love this store! Staff is friendly. I like to shop during the week when it's less busy. The cinnamon buns are a family favorite always 😄

I had a great visit to IKEA Coquitlam—the layout is well organized, there’s an amazing variety of items for all home needs, and the food was surprisingly good, especially the smoked salmon, which was my absolute favorite

Nice to have food right where you are shopping but the lineups were massive. Almost 30 min from lineup to sit down. Food was Ok. Nothing special. The process of getting it and cleanup was good.

This is my go-to place for weekend breakfast. Prices are reasonable, and IKEA membership includes free coffee. A meal for two—soup, salad, pancakes, potatoes, and sausage—is under $20. Their strong European-style breakfast coffee is especially delicious. Decaf is also available.

The food is good. The prices are good, and they have many options.
The portion sizes are generous. They could be smaller, but in the end you eat more than just one plate because you have a complete meal (soup, salad, appetizer, bread, and dessert).
If you want to eat there you must wait for a table, and for order because usually it's so crowded.

Winner, winner, IKEA dinner!
Stopped at IKEA today with my husband for a bit of browsing & an early dinner. Being a weekday, late afternoon, & during the post-xmas lull, we found the restaurant & store were quieter than usual (which suited us just fine).
Today I had a fruit soda (mixed pear & raspberry) with a new menu item (plant balls with roasted potatoes, scallions, pesto, parmesan cheese) & a slice of NY cheesecake for dessert.
I usually have the Hungarian Mushroom Soup, Swedish Gravadlax plate, & a green salad — so YUMMY! But I’m glad that I tried something new this time — the plant balls were DELISH! 😋
My husband (his food not pictured) had a cola with a Swedish Poutine (fries, cheese curds, cream sauce, & meatballs — the dish comes with 4, he upgraded to add an extra 4) & finished with a slice of DAIM cake (his favourite!).
Such a good deal, 2 drinks, 2 entrées, & 2 desserts for only $32 — what’s not to love? ❤️😋

Great cafeteria for a budget friendly bite or snack. Food is great for the price point. The best most nutritious option is the salmon dinner, would recommend, and yes you can add an extra salmon portion. You can get sides of anything on the menu, to make it your way!
We recently tried some of the new options. The meatball poutine is A1 for the winter season!

I love being able to pre-order at self checkout; But waiting 17 minutes for a frozen yoghurt is a little excessive.

The salmon is the best along with meat balls. They replaced Haddock with cod which is amazing.
