Really attentive service and delicious food.

Lots of variety, which is great for a family with different tastes. The Greek is my personal favourite. Very friendly staff. Best for take out.

Extremely poor customer services, specially the old lady doesn’t know how to communicate with customers.

Had lunch here a few weeks ago with my husband. The owner was wonderful - very sweet. Our meals were both delicious! I ordered the chicken shami - highly recommend

Very tasty kebab lunch at a reasonable price. Try this if you're in the mood for something wholesome and slightly different than the usual shawarma fare on offer elsewhere. You won't be disappointed!

Thank you very much for your kind response. I am currently living in Canada, but I will always have wonderful memories of RS Syafira. Both of my daughters were born at your outstanding hospital, and I am truly grateful for the exceptional care and dedication of your team. Thank you again for everything.

You're lucky if they get your order right. And they always act as if it's you!

Great location and service.

Jan 2025, changed menu, or chef. Lamb curry was rubbery, got 2 chicken drumsticks in the butter chicken and redefined naan as we all know it, fat and heavy. So disappointed, they used to be so good. Have to find another source.

I am extremely disappointed with the food I received from Jamila Restaurant. The skewers were absolutely terrible—burnt, dry, cold, and tasted old/stale (photos says it all). The flavor was so awful that we ended up throwing them straight in the garbage. They didn’t resemble anything close to what was advertised on Uber Eats. It was honestly shocking.

They make a half-quarter naan (shown in photos) and call it one full naan. I ordered two, and they sent me what can only be described as half a naan for the price of two.

The Bolani was burnt (see photos) and tasted horrible. I couldn’t even take a second bite. It was completely inedible.
For the amount of money I paid ($60), this is beyond unacceptable.

When I called to address the issue, Jamila was incredibly rude and dismissive. She mentioned that she had been working since 4 am and did this and did that, but didn’t even have the basic courtesy to apologize for the poor food and service. Her behavior was unprofessional, uncivilized, and absolutely not what I expect from a restaurant, especially one in Canada. I honestly feel like reporting this to the food authorities. I will never be ordering from here again. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered through skip the dishes- 1/2 order was missing, the other 1/2 was NOT good food.
Order elsewhere....

Delivered food and hour late then threatened to sue my company if I left a bad review... here we are.

Please don’t order the “feast for two” and expect to eat much. We split one chicken skewer that was very overcooked.

Jamila’s Kitchen offers an authentic Afghan Food experience In Coquitlam area that’s hard to find elsewhere! I ordered takeout order The Qabili Palaw is outstanding beautifully fragrant basmati rice with tender chunks of lamb, topped with sweet caramelized carrots and raisins.

The balance of spices is perfect, giving each bite a warm, comforting flavor that feels both exotic and familiar.

The Mantu is another must-try! These steamed dumplings are stuffed with seasoned beef and onions, then topped with a savory tomato sauce and a creamy yogurt drizzle.

The layers of flavors and textures make it a truly memorable dish. If you’re looking for genuine Afghan cuisine, The owner of Jamila’s Kitchen is very generous he always gives back to community I Highly recommend it for a unique and flavorful Afghan Meals.
