As expected, it's the same same
There aren't many people in the evening but they do not server side dishes
Is it a big problem to give side dishes to noodle
Bean sprouts, please stop being greedy with potatoes
The guy server have never gotten smile and you're throwing food
No matter how many times I call him, he did not answer and he was so slow about my requests Not only that, but also the boss couple? Their faces are so ugly and they don't look good I don't want to go in when they're standing in front of the door The man boss pointed us to the table with screaming and ordered another server to move to other table i felt dirty before I even ordered the food The boss is the worst so the server seems like slave The food is bad but the service is the worst and the working people are just hell

The clam noodle was great, but I do highly recommend trying the chicken ginseng soup. You don’t need to add the salt on the side as it’s flavourful enough.

When you’ve finished dining at a restaurant and, after some time, start thinking about where to eat out again — this Korean restaurant will definitely be at the top of your list.
The Napa cabbage pancake is a rare find in Vancouver. It’s crispy but not greasy, with a fresh sweetness from the cabbage that makes it irresistibly good — you just can’t stop eating it.
The whole calamari is another standout. The batter is light and crisp, pairing perfectly with the tender squid inside, giving each bite a wonderful texture and depth. Once you start, you won’t be able to stop — absolutely a 12/10 recommendation!
Both the clam kalguksu and galbi kalguksu are excellent as well. The noodles are perfectly chewy, with the clam broth being light and refreshing, while the galbi broth is rich and full-bodied — ideal for those who love exploring deep flavors.
Prices are reasonable, which explains why it’s always busy with people waiting in line. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely a must-try!

Good food n good service special I like deep fried whole calamari ! Yummy 😋
The food was ok, but the portions have shrank considerably since we were there back in 2024. Sizzling pork and sizzling squid was basically kids size portions (full price nevertheless!), and squid meal was mainly onions and not much squid at all. I used to love this place - food was great and portions were generous, 3 of us could easily eat under $100 and have enough leftovers for the next day, but it isn't the case anymore, so sadly we won't be returning.

Very good variety of food .. the portions are huge and the soju Jinro without any flavor is just right. The spicy chicken was really good. We will be back to try other stuff. The kimchi dumplings were also very nice

Restaurantji Recommends
The food and service were certainly commendable, though the portion size did not quite meet our expectations. During our visit, the spicy pork unfortunately arrived somewhat burnt from the hot plate, but the servers were kind enough to offer a replacement.
Overall, the food is quite tasty, and the service is attentive.
This used to be one of our favourite place but it feels like there are lots of changes in the past year. The clams in the noodle soup is much lesser and we order the beef short ribs the first time today… expensive and not worth it at all. The short ribs were not marinated well with little flavor, quite oily and even my kid doesn’t like it… with the same price $29, Dooboo has double the portion and much better quality.
I am quite disappointed today and unsure if we will come back again…
Your next door Korean kitchen 😊
This place feels like home. Warm service, comforting food, and a menu that covers all the classics. Whether you are craving kimchi stew, bulgogi or just something simple and satisfying, Kang’s Kitchen delivers with heart.
Compared to most Korean restaurants, this place is relatively unique. The soup noodles and stir-fried clams are especially delicious — highly recommended!
After a funeral service, some of us old high school friends got together as a reunion of sorts for a lunch. Group of 5, even on the ordering monitor there was a prompt with the option to split the bill 5 ways. After the meal we walked up to the cashier who told us we can only split 2 ways so me and another guy were forced to pay for the entire meal. Pathetic. No word of warning beforehand. No apologies. Never giving them my patronage again. Full more of regret than food.
