Ordered two ramen bowls for takeout, came home to find that the bag was full of grease. Ramen was literally half broth half oil, so disgusting. Never ordering again for this place. Save your money and go to a real ramen place
Food is great, there spicy can be Spicer. Service has gotten better since they have ipads to call your server now. Cell phone signal and data signal is terrible. Would love to do some work while I eat. But terrible phone connection. The atmosphere could be more engaging

The mazesoba I got was soooo salty!! Also the noodle texture was disappointing, it has no elasticity at all, just like leftover noodles. Which was so different from what I had at Kokoro when they first opened in Vancouver a few years ago. Not sure if this location is just cutting corners or if it’s a problem at all the branches.
On a positive note, my meal came out super fast, like a minute or two after I ordered. Also the chasu was not bad, some of the pieces had good charring

Came here for dinner as I was meeting up with my family after my work and heard good things about this restaurant as they have Mazesoba (umami-rich saucy noodle) and you have an option to make your bowl XL at no extra charge. Also when you finish your bowl of noodles and have sauce leftover then you can request rice to mix it together to finish your meal. It's not obvious on their pad as you need to press the "pay bill" option to find the option to request rice.
The inside of the restaurant was very spacious and had nice decor. Street parking may be a hassle if you were to go during times when it is restricted (e.g. no parking) but I would suggest parking by Lougheed mall and walking to the restaurant as it is not too far.
I ordered the Deluxe (chef special) Mazesoba that had a lot of toppings like Slow-braised Pork Chasu, Minced Meat (Pork & Beef), Runny Egg and Soft Boiled Egg. There was a unique taste as they had Grinded Saba Fish and it added to the umami flavour.
My wife ordered the Szechuan Mala Ramen as she likes spicy food and she said it wasn't as spicy as she only choose a 1 so next time she will request a higher number but overall the ramen was very tasty and filling. My kid ordered the Carbonara as he likes creamy sauce and it had similar toppings and he said it was very delicious as it reminded him of pasta.
Typically we don't order dessert but we needed to try their Hokkaido Creme Cone as it reminded us of Japan. It was very creamy, not too sweet and smooth. Wow love this ice cream.
We will definitely be back another time to try their other dishes.

Today we had Chicken Karaage Rice Bowl, and Simon Rice Bowl, we don’t think they are very fresh, and we both had a hard time with our stomachs, we regularly visit here, it’s very disappointed they stopped keeping food fresh

We went on a Friday evening fairly early so it wasn't too busy so my husband was seated immediately with a table in the far back of the restaurant. It was our first time trying this restaurant out so I had no expectations. To my surprise it was very spacious and bright inside as soon as I walked in. We ordered the following dishes: Carbonara Mazesoba (Silky & Creamy Sauce),
Szechuan Mala Ramen (2 chilies level of hotness), Deluxe Mazesoba (Umami Rich Minced Meat Sauce) and
Hokkaido Creme Cone.
All were very good. The Szechuan one I could have went up one more level of spiciness. It was numbing but not life threatening to me. Maybe next time... The Deluxe Mazesoba had a good amount of meat and greens in it and was really appetizing cause the sauce was just enough to cover everything once mixed. If you're wanting something with no soup that would be great!
The Hokkaido Creme Cone was DELICIOUS! Must I say more?
I would go back to try the other ramen and rice dishes!

Came here on a weekday. No one was here when we came in the afternoon. Green tea was served for drinks. You order by the tablet at the table. There is an offer for free noodle upgrade. What this means is if you order XL you will get the extra noodles free. So when you order it doesn't matter the size. Reg or XL is same price. The mazesoba is the main dish. It's a dry noodle dish that is made very saucy. We found that if you offer the XL you don't get as much saucy left over for the rice you can add up it at the end.

My family and I go here roughly once a month and we always have a great time - the food is delicious and the staff is always friendly and courteous.
I love the Mentaiko, the ramen is quite good no matter which one you get, and the takoyaki is tasty. The prices are all reasonable, and it is just a great spot.
