I have to say, Lily was the sweetest and kindest server I've ever met. Even before I started chatting with her, I could tell she enjoyed her job and provided excellent service to all the customers. She was attentive to refilling drinks and sliced meats. When she found out I was only visiting Vancouver for a few days, she suggested a few areas to explore. One of them was Lafarge Lake, which was less than a 10-minute walk from the restaurant. I'm very glad I got to see...
Ordered the premium menu which was worth it, since the beef quality is much better. The location is much smaller than the Burnaby one, but the service is great from the Asian lady who basically runs the whole place.
A really lovely experience. Lots of high quality choices, and spacious tables -- you don't feel crowded, which is rare for hot pot I find. The price was a bit surprising as they charged us each for soup bases separately (we shared) which made it more like 40 dollars each. I would go all the time if it were a bit less expensive.
