food is decent, but service is quite poor, we wanted a corner seating to have more space since we got two kids, denied said all other empty booths were reserved yet by the time we left some of them were still empty.

They don’t think about the customers, even an adult with two little kids, they will order a large size without asking your opinion because of the price are different, it horrible service!

Terrible service. When we placed the order, we specifically asked for the sauce to be on the side. They didn’t do it, or at least they could have told us they wouldn’t. Instead, they brought the dish, said the kitchen wouldn’t do it, and walked away without any apology.

The menu on the app is messed up and took forever to input. We wasted 15 minutes as the menu transitioned from breakfast to lunch and we had to start a new order again. So bad and a waste of time
Large portions! Great value however the chef was generous with the salt and oil that day if you're into that. Service is kinda none existent as they maybe had 3 servers there for quite a large number of tables in that place. Kitchen was pretty quick though.

Update Dec 2025: The beef brisket is less salty now. They also have three waitresses who are very polite and serving customers with excellent attitudes. The washrooms there are also very professionally maintained and uncluttered. Upgraded to 4 stars.
Update Aug 2023: Beef brisket fried noodles is salty to the extreme. Informed the server and hope that this will improve in the future.
Original Post: It’s one of the best Hong Kong style cafes in Greater Vancouver in terms of ambience and decor. However, one long time male server is really very bad in terms of attitude - No smile whatsoever. He can be a “tourist attraction” showcasing traditional HK style server behaviour. If I find any improvement, I’ll remove this post to be fair to that person.
Update Feb 2021: There’s some improvement in that server. Food quality has been consistently good. I’m giving it 4-stars from 3-stars
