good ice cream. i used to come here all the time, but the staff is horrible.
i’ve come here multiple times and literally left now without even ordering.
girls disappear to the bathroom for 15 mins and lock the outside door, there’s been line ups outside of people waiting.
and then tonight got yelled at in front of everyone in the store for throwing my empty water bottle in recycling when i entered to order my ice creams. i was so shocked by the disrespect i will never come back. my friend said the same thing when she went too, the worker was so rude my friend decided to not order and just left. brutal service here

I came in on a Friday night (March 20th) and it was very busy with only one girl working all alone and absolutely killing it!! She was still very fast and efficient while maintaining a positive attitude :) when the weather picks up, I hope management can staff more effectively for those peak hours.

Extremely rude and embarrassing service.
The lady working had her boyfriend waiting for her, while she was sneakily trying to close the business early and leave.

If she did not want to serve any customers she could have refused service and said she was closed. She was banging things around and saying profanities.

Extremely disappointed by the service and everyone beware.

I came in on a Saturday night and got a medium smores and the place was packed there was only one worker and she was very nice and polite despite all the people in the store great costumers service.

When I came in later to toss my garbage there was a group who were so incredibly disrespectful absolutely Berating the same girl who served me earlier and they were taking photos and being again incredibly disrespectful because the worker made a loud noise in the back when she came out and it was 5 minutes before closing and it is so disheartening to see and hear ppl talk to such a pleasant young lady like that.

Note- if you come in on a Saturday night make sure to tip well because that young lady works so hard every Saturday

First time at a Marble Slab, the worker named Faith was amazing! She was working alone and even though it got busy she did an amazing job keeping the line moving while still being patient with every customer, she even helped a customer sign up for the app!

Staff was friendly, place was clean, overall great experience would definitely come back.

I had a great experience with the young lady that helped my group of 18 people on Saturday Dec 13 around 8 PM! We came in unexpectedly, and I think she was a little flabbergasted, but handled it like a pro. She was quick and great with the kids, made sure that they all got the mix-ins that they wanted, and didn’t show any sign of frustration even though they were a little indecisive. I had the orange creamsicle and was happy with the flavour and creaminess of it.

Loved going here for our Birthday cakes however apparently in November they have too much business and no longer will do cake requests because it seems to be too much work - at least Dairy Queen will still take my money -

I got my ice cream at 9 PM on September 14th and tried to talk to one of the girls who works there. She was wearing a gray hoodie. I asked for cookies and cream ice cream, but her attitude was awful, even though I was being polite. I couldn’t hear her because she wouldn’t raise her voice, and when I asked her to speak up, she got upset—even though I was just trying to understand her. I don’t know her name.but the ice cream was good.

I've been a regular customer at Marble Slab in Coquitlam Centre for over two years and have always ordered a large ice cream split into two cones without any issues. Today, however, I was told by the staff member making the ice cream that she would not do this, and instead insisted on giving us two smaller cones — even though I was willing to pay for extra cone.

When I explained that I’ve always done it this way, she was dismissive, snappy, and showed no flexibility or basic courtesy. There was no apology or attempt to provide even a minimal level of customer service.

This isn't the first time I've had an issue here. In the past, I’ve asked for extra raspberries in my ice cream, and the staff refused. When I asked if there’s a limit on mix-ins, they didn’t answer — just pursed their lips and moved on.

Today, my son's cone ended up overflowing and melting rapidly, creating a mess, and the overly soft ice cream only made things worse. The staff didn’t acknowledge or assist — just continued to insist on their policy without explanation or care.

Very disappointing experience, especially from a place I’ve supported regularly for years.

I had a really good experience when I walked in today, Friday August 29th/2025. Was greeted by a girl right away, she was very to the point, aware and thorough! Also very polite! 😊 the time I was served was around 4:30pm! I just want to say you should really give her a raise, she is a great worker! There aren’t many workers like that out there anymore!

I went here and had an amazing experience, the employees working were so kind and helpful!! Maddi and Faith were both incredible and really made the experience.

Why was this the worst milkshake I've ever had? Your whole thing is ice cream and you used to be so good, what happened? :(

this place is the best

Bad experience today with the young girl working there today around 4pm. I ordered for my little sister and I asked for a small cup. She puts it in a waffle cup instead. I say “excuse me I asked for just a cup sorry”. She visibly gets really annoyed and angry. And when the worker handed me the ice-cream she aggressively slams it down on the counter….. I was very uncomfortable with this experience. My mom wanted to say something, but I didn't want an altercation to happen after seeing how upset the worker was over a small mistake she herself made.

(I doubled checked with my mom and sister and I said cup, I didn’t even know they had waffle bowls)
