Can't get the order right... Ordered some food and drinks and paid in drive thru... Pulled up to window... Was told to pull into the parking lot... Then drive thru attendant comes up to my car with most of the food, but not all of it. And she didn't bring the drinks I ordered either... I wasn't in the mood to haggle on a Friday night at 630pm when it's raining... But I was charged for all the items after I looked at the receipt 🧾 when I pulled away... I'm not going to blame language barriers on this... I'm just going to chalk it up to half-,hearted, sloppy service.

Ordered coffee and wait 18 minutes. Only a few people were in line. The order was not fully completed, the staff said that they would not be able to issue what I chose on my mobile app.

This morning around 10am I bought a bacon egg McMuffin meal at the Burquitlam Station McDonald’s and was absolutely disgusted to find a booger on the outside of the paper wrapper on the my egg McMuffin. It was so gross I started gagging on the SkyTrain. I couldn’t even bring myself to take a picture of it because it made me physically sick, but I did take a photo of me throwing the entire order (sandwich + hashbrowns) into the garbage to show I didn’t eat it.

When I came back around 12:45pm to calmly explain the situation and ask for a refund (just for the contaminated items), I showed the shift manager, Ravleen, the photo of me throwing out the food. She was extremely rude and dismissive, and told me since I didn’t have a picture of the actual booger there was “nothing they could do.” When I said I’d be writing a review about the poor service, she responded with “okay go ahead do it” and walked away.

Two other staff members tried to be more polite, but they only offered to remake the food—which I declined because I was still disgusted and didn’t want to eat there again today. They also said they couldn’t refund me because I didn’t have the original food or receipt, even though (1) one of them confirmed they remembered me from the morning, and (2) I ordered through my McDonald’s app account, which could easily have been referenced.

The fact that this location refused to refund an order under $10 after such a disturbing experience is unacceptable. Between the contamination and the dismissive management, this was by far the worst and most disgusting service I’ve ever received at a McDonald’s. Do better.

Very strange that they charge for paper bags but if you go through the drive-thru, they are free. So I took a cup holder to carry my food out because it's free. Go figure.

Manager was very rude when asking to see my order number. Didn’t say “can I please see your number?” She immediately said “show me your number” in a very rude and demanding tone and it’s not appreciated, you guys just reopened after the renovations and already have rude staff
