The food was alright, but the service could definitely use a lot of improvement. One of the staffs seemed to have forgotten one of our orders, leading to a 30-minute delay in receiving our meal.

Very reasonably priced meals. If you pay your bills by certain time, you also get a 10% discount. Dishes are authentic Cantonese dishes and waitresses are cordial and helpful. Dim sum dishes are authentic and much cheaper than the Yan's on Lougheed and North Road. This place also serve barbeque ducks prepared in the restaurant and authentic Chinese buns and desserts in the bakery.
Great place to enjoy a Chinese meal with friends here. Plenty of free parking.

Always so welcoming and warm. The food is very good and they offer lots of variety. We go here lots for family dinners so we can order a few dishes and try new things.

A decent place yo get your fix of dimsum or chinese style dishes. They are generous with their shrimp dumplings and their steamed spare ribs are plenty and flavorful. My favorite is the pork belly with tofu rice. There are plenty of parking spaces and there are decent amount of tables. If you visit the place on the weekends, be there early. The place is usually packed with people.

Very disappointed by this restaurant for scamming locals, DEFINITELY NOT COMING BACK! The restaurant would charge extra 10% for taking out that is crazy I am already eating there and taking out cost extra 10% but not for leftover this is not ALL YOU CAN EAT. I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!

Stumbled across this little gem at lunch time on a Saturday. This is a no frills, reminds me of my childhood Chinese restaurant my Chinese Nana used to take us to. The portions are large, the food is delicious & the service is friendly.

We ordered the following:

PORK Turnover (aka footballs). This is a must order in our family & I daresay these are some of the best ones we have ever had. Where most places offer 3/serving, here they do 4. They were good sized, non greasy, crispy on the outside, soft & chewy on the inside & it was full of delicious pork & mushroom filling.

Eggplant w/Shrimp Paste (a customer favourite we're told) & I can see why. The serving came with 3 large pieces that were each cut in half easily making 6 servings. The sauce beautifully complemented the dish without overpowering the shrimp & eggplant.

Pan-Fried Rice Rolls with Sauces. This for me is comfort food. I love the simplicity & soft chewy texture of the rice rolls & how they pair perfectly with the slightly sweet & salty sauces.

Beef Balls. If I had not had beef balls before I would say these were quite good. However, it being a staple on our dim sum table, this one was a little bit of a miss for me. I can't quite put my finger on it as I said they were quite good. I guess they're just a bit different than what I'm used to.

They also have a bakery attached & between the restaurant, bakery & takeout this place was busy!

They do recommend reservations for large parties & did I mention they have ALL DAY DIM SUM!!! Yes you read that right! They also do set menus & they highly recommend checking them out during King Crab season....I think we might just take them up on that. Actually we can't wait to go back & try all their other dishes so I'm sure we'll be back much sooner. We even loaded up on some of their bakery items to have later!

If you're in the Coquitlam area (even if you're not) & are looking for great authentic Chinese food, please check them out! You can thank me later!

Only 1 customer was there when I got in to buy roasted pork. I waited right in front of the bbq booth where the guy was chopping roasted meat. Then one lady got in and they all chatted. That lady then said “ one bbq pork””, then she got it first. I waited 5 minutes, then someone behind me yelled “2 rips of roasted pork “ , the guy knew her name and she got hers before me. Totally unfair, I was furious. Will never visit again.

This family-run Chinese restaurant checks all the boxes! Fresh dimsum and entrees everyday, complete with bakery, roast meats and seafood tanks.

Try the lobster with sticky rice. It's delicious and not commonly found in local restaurants.

Hototai is their House Special Soup. Don't skip it! This soup is a specialty that's hard to find.

Their siopao rivals the most popular Vancouver restaurants. Bonus: their prices are competitive.

If you're coming for dimsum, it's best to make a reservation. Otherwise, be prepared to wait.

Parking: The parking lot fills up quickly.

It was delicious Chinese food. We ate a lot of dishes, including several types of Dim sum, sticky rice wraps, and HONG KONG MILK TEA, and they were all delicious.

I often want to have the lunch set with iced milk tea for only one yuan. The taste is good, the portion is generous, and the price is reasonable. There is also Hong Kong-style bread on the side for takeaway as a breakfast snack! The only drawback is that there are so many customers that you have to stagger the time so you don’t have to wait too long.

Went here for an early dinner. Decent price for the size of serving you get. We got the Combo Dinner B and 3 BBQ meat with rice, and it was a lot of food for 2 people. The place was clean and quiet, and they have a mix of traditional chinese food as well as freash seafood. Definitely recommend.
