We've purchased tortillas and tortilla chips here before, but had only ever eaten actual meals at Originals. So I was excited to order a burrito and side when I had a rare night to myself--unfortunately the Uber Eats driver never delivered my order and the Uber Eats (lack of) customer service refused to believe me or do anything about it. I figured I was out the money and the meal. But when I called Mercado, the woman I spoke to was so nice and helpful, even offering me a credit for a future pick-up order (no more Uber Eats for me!). Such a welcome act of kindness after the frustration of dealing with Uber. I'm looking forward to my future burrito and hope the one I ordered was enjoyed by someone at another address as a fun surprise. We'll definitely be dining at Mercado more often now!

It’s an authentic Mexican Mercado in Coquitlam by Original, one of my favorite Mexican restaurant🇲🇽🌮 We walked in on a colder day after a long walk, and sat in to have a bite - it was a perfect break! Before we left the place, the lady who was making fresh flour tortillas in the store handed us a freshly toasted, warm tortilla each. It was so sweet of her, and the tortilla was delicious💯😋never tasted anything as fresh as that! It warmed not only our hands and tummies but also our hearts❤️

Wow, this is amazing… had a burrito and I think it’s amazing. The meat tastes real… you can tell it’s actual quality meat. If you like more veggies- ask for more tomatoes or avocado. Def worth trying

I ordered take out tonight and the meat for both items was incredibly overcooked. Not only did it taste horribly but it actually caused my 1 year old to choke and I had to give her back blows to save her life. Will never eat here again.
To clarify in response to the restaurants response. It was not a taco. It was a deconstructed burrito bowl. The issue was that the meat was over cooked - not that I was serving inappropriate food to my child.

I ordered 3 tacos, and they only gave me 2 for my pickup order. I wanted a refund for the taco I was charged but did not receive since they’re like $7 each. I tried calling the restaurant 10 times, and not once did they pick up. I left 2 voicemails and did not receive a single call back to rectify mistake. It’s unfortunate the restaurant does not care for their customers or to make things right. I will not be eating here again.

Outstanding! I don't normally leave reviews, but this place deserves it. I didn't know about this gem until tonight! Food is made fresh daily, and it's obvious! Fresh veggies and meat make all the difference, and the flavor is on point with generous portions. On top of this, the staff is really kind and there is a friendly atmosphere among them and their customers. New favorite! Thanks, guys! We will definitely be back. ❤️
