The staff were very welcoming and encouraged me to try the fresh options, told me when to come back in the future as the production schedules change due to demand. Ignore the setting, get the fresh ribeye and enjoy pleasant staff to chat with. Best beef tacos in a 20-30km radius.

my brother and i were craving some authentic tacos so we tried mercado for the first time. the man working at the counter was very friendly, and the food was delicious. working at a small local business myself, i can confirm that the price for quality food is so worth it! think i just found my new favourite mexican place!

Ordered the Burrito Carnitas and Chicken Quesadillas. The burrito was 10/10 so delicious I could eat it everyday. The chicken quesadilla came with the salsa on the side which was excellent for my picky toddler. She ate the whole thing and loved it. We love Originals so we had high hopes for Mercado and it did not disappoint.

Maybe it was an off day, but this guy was working alone and slammed on a Saturday lunch hour. He was friendly as much as he could, but it would have made all the difference if he had one more person to help. The food was good, but maybe priced a bit high for what you get, the chicken was meh, was really hoping for more flavour.

The fish tacos tasted great, but i just wish there was less because it was impossible to eat, i couldnt pick it up and 70% of it ended up falling off. I just wish it wasnt as jam packed thats the only criticism!

I ordered four chicken tacos, each with a corn tortilla, cheese, and salsa roja (as well as whatever else comes on a standard taco). However, what I got instead was a package of four tightly packed (to the point where you couldn't grab one without breaking the others) tacos with cheese that was fried on top of it with a little bit of pico de gallo on top. There was no salsa roja on the taco or in the bag.,and the chicken took up aout 80% of the mini tortilla whilst the cheese created a barrier between the taco and the pico de gallo. The tortilla was excessively crumbly which resulted in me being forced to just dump the whole thing into a bowl and try to eat it that way. The chicken was bland and lacked flavour whilst I mistook the cheese for tortilla chips due to their flat, hard, and square shape. about 80% of the taco was just the chicken and what was left was simply nothing of interest. If you go here, do not order the tacos.

$5.50 for this Horchata- it’s hard to find good horchata in the Tri-cities and since this place is close to home I thought i’d try it out. For the price, the portion is quite small and there was something off about the taste; sort of a plastic, rancid taste to it- not something you’d expect for horchata. Can’t say anything about the food though! i haven’t tried
