Server not very attentive. We ordered soup and it arrived with no spoon. Took 3 try's to get a spoon And chicken bites were cold. They were replaced finally.
It is a test kitchen but. First of all we said it is cold in here could you turn up the heat, was told oh because you just came in from the outside, we had been there half an hour and ordered drinks. Three of the four of us ate with jackets on which we would not do at home. We ordered from happy hour again three of the four ordered the sweet chili chicken bites which had one small piece of cucumber and hardly no wontons like the full order does. At the end we got our Individual bills mine was wrong on my drink she said that's not happy hour I said I saw it on menu took my bill away returned with corrected bill saying oh yes sorry it was. Another friend ordered a burger from happy hour menu and a salad that wasn't but when read her bill she didn't get happy hour price told server and was told that when you order from happy hour menu for take out do not get happy hour price. She said so I could have just ordered it on a plate then said could I get a take out box and then you get that price. She complained spoke to mgr. they said they would do it this time but not again. Told them then at bottom of happy hour menu that should be stated. She was taking it home for her daughter's dinner as it was 5:20. I know it's test kitchen but should be aware as we spoke with two persons that were hard to understand as they did not speak very good English. We will return but should be aware. Thank you.
We visited last night after the reopening and wanted to share our experience. The restaurant looks great, the updates and refresh are really nicely done. We were seated quickly and the host staff were warm and friendly, which made a good first impression. Service seemed a bit stretched through the evening. We waited about 20 minutes for our drinks, though to their credit, the staff handled it professionally and removed the charge after we mentioned the delay. Unfortunately, the food itself was underwhelming overall and didn't quite meet our expectations. The highlight of the meal was definitely the sticky toffee pudding. It feels like the restaurant may still be finding its footing after reopening. With some improvements to kitchen consistency and staffing levels, it has good potential.
The upgrade has worked out well. Food experience very tasty and staff friendly and helpful. All round good time.
We were seated beside a group of 14 guests. The waiter apologized right away that he would not be able to serve us because of this large group for 20 minutes. The waiter was very loud with the table beside us, shouting out their orders like we were at a soccer match. Finally, another waiter came andtook our order .Two out of the four dinners we ordered were OK. My salmon was cooked too much and the dry spaghetti it sat on was not edible. The butternut squash ravioli was not good either tasteless would not recommend those two dishes the pork chop dinner and the hamburger were fine.
Pork Chop, (ordered sauce on the side)...Really satisfied, easy 4.5/5, definite winner. Chocolate Cake unbelievable. Nice Atmosphere. Party of 5, all meals thumbs up, very nice experience.
We had an enjoyable night out celebrating our annual Xmas get together! Food and ambiance was great! Our server Zan made it especially memorable! He was attentive, funny and informative with the menu! Can't ask for a more perfect evening and a big part of it was thanks to the service!
Juliano was pleasant, but forgetful, negligent and not able to tell the truth. Keira, the manager saved the day. I celebrated my 60th birthday with a few close friends and my wife. This was my 6th time at the new 2nd floor restaurant. I love the ambiance! It's just across the street from my head office, so I've been bringing many new people to check it out. Juliano could not remember things, made excuses for forgetting to deliver upon what we asked of him and made it seem like he was really busy, when we cold see him hanging out at the bar with other employees. When we spoke to Kiera about him, we were brutally honest about all the mistakes that he made, but mainly about how he handled his misgivings. He evaded the truth as much as he could before he outright lied to us. As a customer oriented business owner, I must say that either he has not been trained properly or this is not his calling in life. He would do well selling cars. As for the food, it was ok. My chicken was bland. The caesar salad was nice. My wife said that her food was ok. The others did not complain about the quality of the food, just the wrong orders coming to the table. I had to go to the bar to get our table bussed, more water, straws....and attention in general. The rest of the staff was very helpful and kind. I'm not sure if I will be returning to your restaurant. Kiera was very helpful and kind, but I don't know if I can do this again.
We were celebrating a belated birthday, and had planned to be there for Happy Hour. Great value for both food & drinks. (We shared the 3 starters for $39.00 divided by 2). More than enough food. Our waiter Adam, was very accommodating, and attentive which led to a remarkably enjoyable evening.
Server pestered us yet forgot 3 requests. Overpriced specialty drinks & food for Fraser Room menu. My carbonara pasta was gluey and tasteless. Fraser Room is lovely but the rest wasn't the experience expected.

The test kitchen menu was pretty good. Our server was very attentive to our needs. It was very quiet at lunchtime.
I've been to Fraser Bar many times. Always love it here. Last night service was slow. Food came out cold. Few disappointing dishes. The place is a vibe though and I'll keep coming back to sift out the delicious gems!
Our waitress was slow & unattentive. We waited 45 minutes for our first drinks, which arrived after our food, and the next drink we waited an hour for. We asked multiple times for our waters to be refilled as well and sat with empty food plates on our table uncleared the entire visit.
The food taste was delicious. Unfortunately the ravioli was brought quite cold on one side of the dish and barely medium warm on the other side. The waiter offered water initially when we were seated but forgot to bring it. My friend asked for mashed potatoes with her salmon and she was brought pasta (not potatoes). I ordered sticky toffee pudding and mentioned that it was my friends birthday. I had indicated the birthday when I made the booking and had told the waiter when we sat down as well. He returned and told me that my dessert wasn't included in the birthday dessert I explained again that it was for me and my friend wanted to order a dessert for her birthday.
Went to the newly renovated Coquitlam milestones. Pleasantly surprised at how well they renovated it . The food was excellent. The choices were many.. Fraser bar was a pleasant surprise . They definitely did a good job on renovating this restaurant
