We ordered takeout from mochido last week. It was so good!! I can't believe such a novel donut store is closing, just as we got to have a taste 😔.
The taste hit me right when I bit I to the donut. Each flavor has such a unique personality! I've never been this enthusiastic over a donut LOL. And it's actually not overpriced either.
Mg favorite part is that you can cut it into 8 pieces just following the grooves on the donut.
Vancouver really needs more varieties of donut stores besides Lee's donuts and Krispy Kreme. That's literally all we got.
I’ve never seen so many slow workers in my life. Thank god there closing down. Took 30 min to get 6 donuts lol.

I came to Mochido to pick up a few donuts and I’m OBSESSED!! These were SO good. I’m incredibly picky but it was the perfect mix between Mochi and a donut. The churro one was the best and the taro one was much sweeter than the rest. I highly recommend! :)

I had a very disappointing experience at this donut shop. When I arrived, I had to wait 6-7 minutes before anyone even came to the counter. Finally, someone appeared, only to tell us we’d all have to wait because they were frying a new batch of donuts, which would take an additional 5 minutes. I patiently waited for another 10 minutes, and when the staff finally took my order, I was given donuts that were clearly old and unfresh—not from the "new batch" I was told about. They tasted stale, as if they had been made days ago. The donuts were so bad that I had to throw the rest of them away. Overall, the service was slow, and the donuts were disappointing. I won’t be coming back here.

The injeolmi mochi donut is quite good and not overly sweet, but the taro brioche is much sweeter with a very light taro flavor. I paid $8.66 for two small donuts, which seems fair compared to other places. However, given the quality, I'm not sure I'll return.

Overpriced and slow service

I have been here twice now, and once was a hit and the other was a miss. Last time I came in, the girl was very nice and even offered me a free brioche donut to try, since this was before they launched. Today, we went in to order 2 milk & cookies donuts, 1 original glazed, 1 salted brown butter, and 2 brioche donuts, but for some reason they rang in 2 injeolmi donuts instead of the 2 milk and cookies. Yes, we should have checked the box before the 30min drive home, but I feel it wasn't unreasonable to expect them to just put in the order correctly in the first place. I was most excited for that flavour too. Disappointed this time :(

Mochido Donuts is a hidden gem! The donuts are so good and super unique. My favorite was the Billy Miner—it totally gave me nostalgic vibes, reminding me of the birthday cake I used to get from The Keg!
What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were especially kind to my nephew, taking the time to chat with him and even giving him a little extra treat. It made our visit even more special!
Highly recommend Mochido Donuts for anyone looking for a unique and tasty experience. Can't wait to come back!
