Thought we'd give it a 3rd try STAY AWAY!!!! It is still the worst place to eat in coquitlam!!!!. Management is non existent too
It was my first and was the last try . The worse experience we got. I ask my friend to go with our kids on Thursday evening. Although they were not busy, we waited at the door for 7 minutes to be welcomed. And 40 minutes to get to the table and when we ordered until serving 30 minutes..... never mind about the time but we had to ask for cutler, napkin as they forgot to bring that also took another 7 minutes to reach us.... when the food arrived, it was totally different that the photos in the menu and the kids couldn't eat their burger and fries as they seemed to look seating in the kitchen for awhile.... taste of all the food was horrible as we just wanted to try each others to see if one could be better than the other.... very bad service.... server wasn't friendly at all yet We gave good tips ....
Cosy and delicious food for family dinner. Love the service there super Friendly
In love with the corn bread (cake). It remembered my grandmother's one. The place, food and service are excellent.
Waitress was a bit rude. Food was meh, ok but for the price I could've eaten a lot better quality. Not a horrible experience but I definitely wouldn't come back due to the lack of flavour and service.
The food is amazing. The staff is really good and they're always friendly. I actually haven't been here for a long time.
Excellent food, and service, and ambience. Their hickory smoked rib poutine with gravy, mozzarella, hickory sticks, green onion with a drizzle of cream sauce was number #1, a real treat, and delicious, only two more days to order, it will be gone on August 12th, best I had yet! Lots of people were celebrating birthdays there, and the booths, and tables are very large and spacious. Thank you Montana's!
Food was good, service was ok. Be prepared for paying $$$.
Unfortunately i had to change my review. Some friends and I came back around 8pm on July 19th. We had to wait for about 25 minutes which is understandable for our group. We all ordered all you can eat ribs again which took about 40 minutes to come out which is ridiculous for a ticket time. The batch was mediocre at best, very fatty and lots of little bone shards. Then we were informed one we tried to order a second round of ribs that they have run out of ribs. What kind of "all you can eat rib special" runs out of ribs? And whats the best the manager could do? Offer us more fries instead. Just ridiculous. At least our server was apologetic and cared but the management is not even one star worthy.
We were seated at around 8:40. My six friends ordered the AYCE Ribs for $31. After waiting 45-50 minutes for our first round of ribs, they wanted to inform our server about ordering the next round of ribs. When they tried to do so, we were notified by our server that they ran out of ribs. Looking around, I noticed that there were still many tables that have yet to be served. How does a restaurant offering AYCE ribs run out of ribs? Although they offered us unlimited sides as a form of compensation, many of my friends came to Montana's for the ribs, not for the sides. All in all, it was a disappointing dining experience.

Pretty simple service but very good yummy food. For those who like beer and ribs it's right place to be. We will be back, for sure.
We stopped in for a quick drink and snack before dinner. We were seated on their spacious patio promptly. Our young gentleman server was incredibly friendly, tentative and polite!
Friendly staff. Typical location with nice interior. Good ribs but a bit skimpy on the sides other than fries.
I got the chicken strips which was a mistake. They're just cheap frozen chicken strips, which - fine, I should've expected that and not ordered something that clearly wasn't the restaurant's specialty, because the steak and ribs are solidly okay at Montana's. Worse than what I could make at home for $15 bucks ain't great though
Ribs were dry and overcooked - quantity of beans served with a full side of ribs was the same as was served with half side - service was awfully slow - Flies were buzzing around the BBQ sauce stand - My wife's tortilla shells were rubbery. Not a good meal.
