I went to this restaurant and their service works in a way where you place your own order. The portion sizes are on the smaller side, but since we aren’t big eaters, they actually turned out just right and filling enough. We ordered two different eggs Benedict breakfasts — one with pork belly and the other with seafood — and both tasted really good. Their potatoes were especially outstanding, and the salad dressing was also very tasty. One more thing worth mentioning is their Thai milk tea: super delicious, not too sweet, not overly strong, and it paired perfectly with the breakfast.

Morning Tide Eatery is where your brunch gets an upgrade. The vibe is classy, the presentation is on point, and the food tastes as good as it looks. The seafood and pork belly bennies were both fantastic, plus, the portions are solid, so you won't leave hungry.
Just be prepared to pay a bit extra for the experience. The service, however, is friendly and makes every penny feel well spent. It’s the kind of place you go to feel a little fancy while eating brunch.

Went exploring around my neighborhood today and randomly found this little breakfast spot. They only open until 3 p.m., but wow—turned out to be one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. Perfect kind of discovery for a weekend morning.
The vibe here is pretty casual. You grab a table yourself, order at the counter, then the staff bring out your food and drinks. After you’re done, you just head out and they clear the table. Simple, no fuss. I usually don’t love when servers check in mid-meal, but funny enough, I kinda wished they did here—just so I could tell them how good the food was.
I went for the Twice-Cooked Crispy Belly Benny, the priciest thing on the menu, and honestly it was worth every bite. The eggs were spot on—yolks flowing rich and golden, not overdone, not undercooked. The chili sauce looked fiery but was actually more on the fragrant-sweet side, with just enough heat to lift the flavors. Paired with the crispy pork belly and the fresh salad, it was a perfect balance of rich and refreshing. Even the salad dressing deserves credit—light, clean, and just enough to coat everything without drowning it.
Coffee was just okay—nothing to write home about. And a small note: I swapped my latte for oat milk, and they charged extra without mentioning it. Not a big deal, but I honestly don’t think I’ve been charged for oat milk in Canada before.
All in all, this place hit the spot. A really solid weekend breakfast, the kind that puts you in a good mood for the rest of the day. Definitely planning to come back, and I’d happily recommend it if you’re looking for a chill place to start your morning.

Best brunch and breakfast place in Coquitlam. Everytime I come to Morning Tide the meals are perfect. Perfectly cooked eggs, deliciously seasoned.
Here is the mushroom and spinach Benny and the plant based bowl. Both were fantastic! I'll keep coming back.

Food was ok. I ordered the pork belly bene. Not bad but not great, either. The hollandaise need a bit of taste. Had better ones. I also ordered the ube mochi expecting that it will be a real mochi with ube inside. But it came out as just like any ordinary Filipino dessert or kakanin...too sweet! And for $9.00? It's too expensive for what it is. The fried chicken waffle that my husband ordered was good. Customer service was also good.

Top notch, fresh food and will definitely be back here soon! Best Filipino FUSION food I've had in the lower mainland, to date :))
Ps, home of probably the most delicious fried chicken sandwich and potatoes you'll find!
Looking forward to trying new menu items, every time I make my return visit!
Highly recommended!

Came here for the second time and got the Longanisa burger—still super good! The fried potatoes are a must, seriously. I was so impressed the first time I had them, I came back just for that 😂 Staff are really friendly and the place is bright and clean. Totally recommend!

Restaurantji Recommends
I ate some of the best brunch I've ever had the other day. The seafood benny's were absolutely delicious, a true 10/10. I would recommend the Morning Tide Eatery to anyone looking for high quality food.
The meal was sullied by the restaurant charging us for a take out box and making us tip before our service. What's up with that? To the owners, this is very cheap and shameful!
Great fried potatoes!

Ordered the breakfast bowl they have. Food looked good and presentable. Hollandaise sauce was interesting. Wasn’t bad but not a big fan.
The potatoes were tasty and crispy and overall the flavours were there and good, but halfway through your meal it’s hard to finish I think because of so much grease in the meal that I wanted to gag if I take any more bites lol
Pretty pricey but it’s pricey everywhere nowadays and it’s hard to find meals worth your money now.
Ambience is nice and servers are pretty nice.

I gave this location a second try today after my fried chicken sandwich was criminally undercooked 4 months ago, and I was once again disappointed. I spent 23 dollars only on food on the Breakfast Bowl.
The bed of potatoes was drowning in oil for this dish and every time I dug my fork in more oil would ooze out of the potatoes. I felt embarrassed to even take a picture since I ate 20% of the bowl before the bottom had a thick layer of fryer oil. My poached egg was also incredibly undercooked, not just runny but also the whites were still transparent.
Couldn't finish the food, will not be returning.

Disappointed and Unwelcome Experience
I visited this restaurant looking forward to a quiet breakfast, but was turned away simply because I was dining alone. Despite a clearly open table being available, the staff refused to seat me, stating it was reserved for larger parties. I understand space management, but turning away a customer—especially when the table is empty—is both poor hospitality and disappointing. Unfortunately, this left a negative impression, and I won’t be returning.
