Occasionally Honey Reviews
Bought a pint of the ice cream at UBC farmer's market today. The pint wasn't fully filled. But the biggest issue is that the texture is extremely sandy (made me think of frozen rice pudding). I've had vegan ice creams that are smooth and silky, and am curious why the difference was so pronounced.
The flavor was vanilla/lavender and the lavender came through. But, I personally tasted something like graham crackers rather than vanilla. Very sweet.
ordered an ice cream cake and it was amazing!!
Omg so good me and girlfriend just picked up some vegan ice cream sandwiches and they were delicious so glad I got them can’t wait to eat more

Occasionally Honey is a vegan and gluten-free haven, offering a variety of delicious desserts, including cakes, cookies, brownies, and ice creams. Their baked goods are a must-try, with popular items like peanut butter chocolate cake and ice cream cakes that are rich and tasty. The spot is tucked away in a small corner of a commercial lot, with a cozy and cute vibe inside, although there isn’t much seating to hang out. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Customers love that the restaurant is inclusive with vegan treats, especially for those who are dairy free, so they can enjoy desserts like soft serve made with oat milk, caramel sauce, and chocolate cookie crumble, or the Lemon Raspberry creamy coco pop made with coconut milk. The ice-cream sandwiches, drumsticks, cookies, and Nanaimo bars are particularly praised for their taste. Many find everything they try at Occasionally Honey to be really good, and it’s recommended for anyone who loves a good cafe or dessert place, whether they are vegan, gluten-free, or just looking for sweet indulgence.
