I love this venue! Went for a weekday brunch. Amazing menu. Kind & friendly staff. Beautiful atmosphere: quite large, tasteful, elegant interior design. Beautiful view + patio. And yes, I really enjoyed my brunch plate. Will be back to taste the rest of the menu. Would be a great place to hold a private function.

Went for a date. Terrible service on Saturday Dec 6 2025. Had reservations but seated next to filthy table-dirty rag left crumpled on it entire time we were there and even though I mentioned to my server who just nodded and left it there. At 830pm they turned on bright lights! We were still eating.So rude. Place was 90% empty. However decor and food was pretty good.

I don’t write this lightly, On & off is a food borne illness outbreak waiting to happen. I went for brunch with a friend before Christmas. We both had different egg’s Benedict and the eggs and Hollandaise sauce were stone cold, room temperature. The perfect temperature to make many people sick with ecoli or botulism. The server told me they make their eggs first thing in the morning and then hold them in a “heat” bath. I was horrified as they are obviously being held at a temperature far below food safety. I went and checked Fraser Health’s restaurant inspection reports and they have already been cited for this and obviously haven’t rectified the problem. I would strongly advise no one to eat here.
The restaurant was full, noisy and chaotic.
The service was poor. There were a lot of servers but I don’t they are trained effectively. When we complained about our food, they brought out new eggs on a plate instead of taking our food and remaking it. My friend and I were both worried about eating undercooked eggs & Hollandaise so bring new ones on a plate and making us scrape our plates off was disappointing and disgusting.
A terrible dining experience and we will never be back.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. We had breakfast here, first off the vibes were very cute - cozy and trendy decor. The breakfast was delicious and such a good value. It also feels so nice supporting a local business. We met the owner and she was so kind. 10/10 recommend:) will be visiting again!

We made a reservation in advance, so there was no wait at all. For the Crunch Fried Chicken Croffle, the chicken was great and the sauce was solid, but the croffle itself was too wet, not crispy, and pretty hard to cut. The Tornado Omurice with Cha Shu was alright, but there was still room for improvement. The egg was a bit overcooked and could be smoother, and the rice was a little sticky. Overall, the atmosphere and service were excellent, but the food could be better.

Parking was somewhat easy at lunch time weekday. Food was OK, not outstanding. Average $30/ person including main and a drink. They also offer a lunch set at $38 that includes appetizer and dessert. This won't be a place that I will return often.
Went twice for dinner recently. The food was delicious, and the servers are friendly. However, the restaurant felt understaffed, there were only 2 servers working in a fairly large dining area on a Sunday night.

Tonight, my time at On & Off Made me realize the definition of “Eating for the experience”. My partner and I had a reservation at the restaurant and it couldn’t have gone better. The restaurant presents very professionally and has a beautifully elegant atmosphere. It’s very calming and the space feels very warm yet private. I had the five course meal offer and my partner and I enjoyed every step. And it all couldn’t have been done without our wonderful server, Alex, who was very kind, personable, and welcoming yet professional throughout the entire experience. Like I said, I’m not huge into dining for the experience, but this makes me want to. I’ll definitely be back.
