Beautiful dining space. The fried chicken Benedict and shakshuka dishes were our groups favourite. The menu has a lot of options. A good spot for mocktails too.

The service was quick and friendly, food came out efficiently and quality was top notch. Ordered an oat Latte (delicious) and the French toast, which was a good combination of sweet and savory.

Date brunch with the hubby and I wanted to try somewhere new. On & Off Kitchen + Bar came up in my online search and it was a winner. Easy reservation process. Gorgeous atmosphere and we were planning a future visit for dinner. Service was uncoordinated - the table of three beside us received their three plates at different times. We waited 15 minutes for our bill. Our meals were delicious and I look forward to trying their dinner menu.

Went on a Sunday for dinner around 6:00 pm. The place was almost empty. The 'Manager' greeted us and sat us. Apparently the Manager was the only one working the front of house. He was very friendly and served us as well as the other four tables. Ordered drinks, but they didn't have very many cocktails available. Even a gin martini was only available with a flowery Vietnamese gin, no other options. Didn't like it. How about a Caesar, we asked, nope we don't have that. I ordered a Mai Tai, it was terrible and undrinkable. Alright, I guess I’ll have a glass of water. Then the food, again items on the menu were not available. Sable fish, their most expensive item was not available. Wow. Ordered the scallop and crab risotto, the flavour was ok but it had small pieces of crab shell in it. Disgusting. This place gives a vibe that it’s about to go out of business. I wouldn't recommend. I won't be back.

We keep driving by this restaurant on Austin Street and friends keep telling us we need to try so we recently visited On & Off Restaurant in Coquitlam. It has transformed from the Original Joe's under new ownership until since summer 2024 where it changed again to where we are now. It's an all day brunch spot, that has good options for whatever mood you're in.
The atmosphere was vibrant and youthful, perfect for a Saturday night. The menu, managed by Korean staff, seems to change with new ownership, offering exciting new dishes pancake 🧇 seemed like on of them.
We ordered the Pineapple 🍍 Grilled Veggie & 🐔 Breast Skillet, which was delightful. The dish was light, with a low carb option, and featured an abundance of tomato ragu sauce reminiscent of ratatouille. The Breakfast 🥞 pancake was a highlight, topped with mascarpone cream sauce, plenty of fruits, and powdered sugar. The pancake was thick and sweet. Also had calamari 🐙, which was average,, didn't stand out but it wasn't bad at all.
We ended the evening with a unique croissant/waffle 🥐/🧇 Hybrid Pastry topped with ice cream 🍨, perfect for sharing. The restaurant's modern decor and lively patio were impressive, even on a rainy night. Located near Mundy Park, it's a great spot to combine dining with a workout at Anytime Fitness/ or hike around Mundy or shopping at Save on Foods. Overall, On & Off offers a fantastic dining experience in a suburban setting.

The portions were a bit small for the price, but the atmosphere was nice, so it’s a good spot to visit occasionally-

The food was good.
But the coffee and Latte taste were so disappointing. They should pay more attention to the taste of coffee.

The establishment has a sophisticated and French-style design that I rarely see in a restaurant. The place was playing piano jazz over the speakers for relaxing ambiance rather than generic radio music we hear too often.
I ordered the On & Off Breakfast Plate with the Butterfly Mango mocktail. The drink was very flavourful and vibrant in tanginess. The entrée was good overall. The toast was decent for white bread while the salad was good with the vinaigrette dressing having subtle flavours. The bacon was good if not a little dry. The sausages were succulent and tasty. The potatoes were pretty good. The scrambled eggs I ordered were fantastic since they were seasoned with salt and pepper and without milk too.
The staff were great and so was their service when I ate there. My only real complaint is that this restaurant is located in the obscured part of Coquitlam where I had to circle around in order to avoid taking the Golden Ear Bridge. Other than that, On & Off is a great all-day brunch restaurant.
