We went in at 4:30 p.m. on a Saturday during their happy hour (2–5 p.m.). A plate of chicken kebab was listed at $14.99, and the hostess even mentioned the happy hour to us. However, when the bill arrived, we were charged $22 per plate. When we asked the waitress, she said it was because the bill was generated at 5:05 p.m., so we had to pay full price.
This is completely misleading and feels like false advertising. The food itself is overpriced and not very good either. Avoid this place at all costs.

Papa's Shish Kabab, a persian restaurant near skytrain station, I ordered Chelo Kebab Vaziri and Kashk Bademjan. The koobideh kebab didn’t taste like a proper koobideh at all. The rice wasn’t Iranian, and it wasn’t soft or pleasant to eat. Overall, the food was a bit too salty. However, the Kashk Bademjan was good. In general, the price was high compared to the quality of the food.

Ordered take out from them. The meat smelled like rotten beef so i threw it in the garbage bin to avoid getting sick! Seems like these guys don't have enough sales and they are using left over meat to serve people. Horrible! Get your stuff together before you get people sick!!!

I always eat at “Donair Town” but today they were very busy and didn’t feel like waiting. So I went and tried papas shishs kebab across the street because it was empty. The worst decision….for the same price the chicken wrap that they gave me was extremely small and not very flavourful. I had to stop by McDonalds later to get a small burger lol fr.

It’s the second time I order takeout at this restaurant and have problems they don’t do anything about. The first time I ordered on Uber Eats and the restaurant was closed when I got there, someone was locking the door and instead of talking to me she turned her back. This time I called and ordered for take out: 1 Jojeh Boneless kebab and 1 Vaziri kebab, both with no tomato. They made my order wrong, swapping the Jojeh for other dish, still added a tomato to both. I had paid 25% tips and trusted the order. I got back to thr car and checked my food as usual, noticed it and went back inside the restaurant. They have refused to replace it despite the person who spoke to me on the phone repeating my order to me and I know I didn’t order the wrong item.
In short, VERY bad customer service. Their food is ok. Check what you ordered before you pay. I am not ordering here anymore.

Rice is a very important part of Persian kebab but unfortunately the rice wasn’t good enough and the Barg Kebab was cold and not fresh .

I recently tried Persian food for the first time and had the Koobideh, and it was absolutely delicious! The meat was incredibly tender yet full of flavor, and the portion size was just perfect. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. A special touch was the personalized message on the takeaway bag, which really made my day- its so rare to see that level of care these days! I’ll definitely be coming back!

We ordered the Platter for 2, which included Koobideh, Barg, and Joojeh kebabs. Unfortunately, the meat had a very strong unpleasant smell, and the chicken was not tasty at all. I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager, but I wasn’t able to reach them. Instead, I spoke with a staff member and informed them about the issue, but nothing was done. Very disappointing experience. Not recommended at all!
