It’s such a homey little restaurant off Barnet Highway - they give you breadsticks to start off your meal (and it’s bottomless 🤫). The pasta is delicious, filling, and they grate fresh cheese on top too! Everyone is super lovely and would recommend eating here if you’re around Coquitlam Centre even though it’s a little walk from the station

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance because the exterior was so beautiful—and it turned out to be one of the best surprises in Coquitlam.

As a Korean, I found the flavors incredibly well-balanced and perfectly suited to my taste, and the foreign friend who joined me absolutely loved it as well. Later, we learned that the owner has been running this place for over 10 years in the same spot, preparing and handcrafting all the ingredients personally.
You can truly taste the depth and care in every dish. The flavors aren't just good—they have a certain finesse that only comes from years of dedication.

We also noticed the wall filled with awards and certificates, which made perfect sense after tasting the food.

Honestly, this might be the best pasta restaurant in Coquitlam. The atmosphere is elegant and cozy, making it a perfect place not only for casual dining but also for year-end gatherings, New Year dinners, or bringing guests for a special occasion.

A hidden gem that absolutely deserves more attention. Highly recommend!

Food's great, and they have space for private groups.

Delightful experience. Iain was such a nice server 🥰❤️ they can make a vegan pasta for you with grilled vegetables. You can remove the cheese from the bruschetta or have a pizza without cheese as well as your vegan options. The bread with garlic oil is delicious. The maffalda pasta is such a unique and wonderful shape to soak up the sauces.

Held my birthday celebration here in the Art Room. Our waiter, Amin, dealt with our group of 25 attentively and efficiently. The room was perfect and the food was delicious, with plenty of choices for our set menu. Highly recommend!

Absolutely disappointed first of all when I walked in there was an Asian lady who was speaking very slowly. I couldn’t hear her I said I couldn’t hear you. She gave me some kind of gesture or sad or long face, and after the food was salty, and the lady who served me on the table was nice. I order lasagna, which was full of salt wasn’t good at all look like they warm it up in the microwave and bring it up to me I gave one star because I have to

Waitress spilled a glass of white wine on my homemade Icelandic wool sweater/jacket. I spent a lot of time trying to wick the fluid off, and it dampened my experience.
Offered drycleaning...you don't dryclean wool.

Our family reserved at Pasta Polo for our daughter and her fiancé's engagement dinner. We were a moderately large group, so the food was served buffet style, and everything was delicious! Our host, Ian, was very attentive to our group, making sure our guests were happy with their food and drinks, and he made sure there was a good flow to our evening. Thank you to the staff and owner of Pasta Polo for making this a special moment for our families.

We've been to this restaurant many, many times over the past 15 years. We used to go every 2-3 weeks with friends, and family, however we've really noticed that its just not the same as it used to be and hesitate to go these days. The prices have gone up significantly, and the service is just not very good generally (unless you're lucky enough to get Silvie as your server). Our most recent visit we both found that the food just wasn't as good (vegetable lazagne which seemed to be more white sauce based than it used to be, and the chicken parmigiana just wasn't what it was). The service started out very poor. The table already had water poured at it, which made us feel like it was left over from an earlier table (half full cups), but the server explained that this is how they do it now (but it doesn't make customers feel like it is fresh, and was just poured for them if we don't see it happen!). It took a while just to order a drink, and when we did, one was completely wrong (incorrect ingredients). When we brought it to the servers attention he was argumentative saying that he used the correct ingredients but we've had the same drink many times and it was completely incorrect. Overall the service was very slow to begin with and it wasn't that busy. The server did make more of an effort after that, and they did not charge us for deserts in an effort to better the service which was nice. Overall we feel they have made several changes and its just not as nice of an experience as it used to be.

This is the best local restaurant in Coquitlam. Menu is varied, prices are reasonable and ambiance is lovely. Lots of Gluten-free options for Celiacs.

We had such a great time! We stumbled upon the restaurant by accident when our original plan fell through, and I’m so glad we did! Great service, great food, and great atmosphere! If you’re looking for delicious Italian food at reasonable prices with friendly and welcoming service, this is the place to go!
