Pasta Polo Coquitlam/ Catering

My husband and I found this restaurant while staying in Coquitlam from Ontario. The food was lovely and very tasty. We had chicken Parmesan and salad. Traditional Italian cooking and love in each bite. Unfortunately the service was not great and the staff seemed untrained and inconsistent.

Went there for our anniversary, the whole experience was amazing, even our server Sylvia. The chicken Marsala and Creme brûlée were to die for. Can’t wait to go again!

I had really bad service for the second time. I was unhappy with my meal. My server said my shrimp pasta was made with an Alfredo sauce. It came with 4 shrimp and was an oil based sauce, that was very dry. I said it was dry I was offered Alfredo sause. Not impressed. The service was extremely slow for a Monday night. Used to love this place under old management. Will not go back

Two people , two regular pastas , one beer and one highball $100 . The food was good . The portions were ridiculous , my 5-year-old granddaughter could have polished those portions off easily. No joke we left the restaurant and picked up a $20 pizza on the way home so we actually felt like we had eaten dinner and it had three times as much food in it as both of our meals put together.

Different experience with different types of pastas! Apparently their chefs was a award winner for their pasta!
The service and service were polite and friendly specially Anna and Ian!
It worth to try at least once!
The entrance and parking is located behind Barnet highway

Visiting family in Coquitlam, we decided to try Pasta Polo for lunch. Lots of parking available. Menu is fairly large with lots options to choose from. We went with some appetizers to share and each ordered a pasta afterwards. Shared appetizers were the Caprese Salad and the Mussels. Both were excellent and everyone enjoyed the mussels so much that we got another 2 orders. A couple of the pastas that I got to try were the Bolangese and the Lasgna and both I would recommend. We went for lunch and it was steady by 1pm. Service was top notch and food was delicious. While leaving I noticed that they do take out specials and it's 20% off take out orders. Would recommend this Italian restaurant and definitely return next time I'm visiting family again.

Don’t come here often, but the pasta is always good. Pizza can be a bit crispier. Friendly service. Not cheap, but where can you dine cheap nowadays.
