This has quickly become my favourite patisserie in Coquitlam! Pastries are fresh, the bakery is modern and drinks are yummy. My husband and I love coming here on a weekend!

Love this spot! The service is always quick and friendly, and they’ve got such a good coffee selection. The pastries are super fresh and delicious (the cinnamon swirl croissants are amazing). Great place to grab a coffee and a treat.

Stopped by based on a recommendation from a friend after lamenting that very few bakers in the lower mainland know how to properly bake and… I was really impressed!
Their puff pastries, and in particular their croissants, were exemplary! Perfectly laminated with even and fluffy flake, just the right amount of chew, and uniformly caramelized. Probably the best in and around Vancouver.
Service was super friendly. Went early on a Saturday, so can’t speak to how orderly they are during rush, but I would happily wait in line for their treats.
Now that I know they exist, and are a quick detour from my gym, I will be getting fat.

I order their
1/ seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte
2/ Fig, Brie & Prosciutto Croissant a
3/ Crogue Monsioure
The pastry store was decorated very elegant, clean. I like the way they display their pastries with little name tags. The store smells so buttery and lightly of fresh baked pastries. Talking about their croissants, the crust with its crispiness is perfect, the inside is still kept its moist and chewiness. I have to say this store would have one of the best croissant i have ever tried. The way they make the croissant in savoury and sweet way is just so creative and fun to try. I will definitely come back to try more and all of the pastry

Stopped in at Pourquois Pas, and it was fantastic. A cute little bakery tucked away in the neighborhood, their pastries and baked goods are always fresh, tasty, and inventive. I love to stop in and see what seasonal treats and rotational goodies they have on offer.
Great spot if you're in the neighborhood and need coffee and a snack.

Regular customer here. Just wanted to say that the pastries and cakes are top notch - definitely the best in the Great Vancouver area IMO. I think it’s pretty safe to say for many people that seeing the pastries and cakes brings joy to people’s hearts. It pains me to say it, but it’s a bit unfortunate that the person that you first see at the cash register is not consistently friendly/warm and greets people when they come in - it really dampens the overall experience.

Pastries: are fresh, perfectly baked, and absolutely delicious.
Drinks: while good, they are fairly standard.
Service: only one barista for a line up of 10 people.
limited working space.
Space: Trendy decor and cozy vibes. The only downside is the space—it’s on the smaller side, so finding a spot to sit can be tricky, especially during peak hours. It gets crammed when there’s a lineup.
Overall, it’s a charming stop if you’re nearby and craving something sweet!

Never seen a coffee place so full of kiddos (some fur babies too) so early in the morning (9:45-10:30am on a Sunday) and all of them were welcomed and included and happy. Everyone going about their business and so calm and chill and lovely.
My croissant was lovely, tangy and sweet and soft with the crispy finish
My latte ( always latte for me) - sea salt ?
A caramel mochiatto to go ( cos I gotta get something for my hubby ❤️?)
Pourquoi pas- why not? If not?
Yes yes!!
You deserve it so have some pastry and coffee
Love the pun in the name
Indoor and outdoor sitting space, not much but enough.
Ready to go + self serve station
Staff warm and friendly
❤️
Parking: Lots of parking
Kid-friendliness: So many kiddos and the glass is low enough for them to pick and choose their dessert ? ❤️
