Rocky Point Ice Cream

I came here to pickup a gift card as a birthday gift at 11am so I can avoid it being busy later. There was one other person so the store was not busy. I was told by the staff, the manager said she's busy making coffee and she's the only one that knows how to load a gift card. It will be a bit of a wait. Wow, managers like that shouldn't be hired. As a company, train your staff how to make coffee or load a gift card, you cannot just rely on one person (manager). I will be buying my gift card at other businesses who want my business. I do not recommend anyone to come here. Go to Ernest Ice cream!!

I want to clarify that my frustration stemmed from the fact that, despite the store not being busy at the time of my visit, I was told I would have to wait for a manager to load a gift card. While I understand that certain tasks require trained staff, having only one person available to complete such a common transaction felt like a lack of preparedness.

As a customer, I value efficiency, and having to wait, especially when the store wasn't crowded, left me feeling disappointed with the service. I believe that cross-training staff on basic tasks like loading a gift card would greatly improve the experience for your customers.

I appreciate the hard work that goes into running a business, and I know that small businesses face many challenges. However, customer experience is key to maintaining loyalty. I hope this feedback is helpful, and I wish your business all the best moving forward.

It’s the first time I was given a scoop this little. The first 2 photos are mine while the last one was screen-captured from one of the reviews. I told the girl who served it and I even said it looks like a kids scoop. She said a kids scoop is a size of a golf ball. That again is not the experience I have through all these years I’ve been getting ice cream from Rocky Point. This is disappointing. I just had a scoop last week and I swear it wasn’t like this. Got this scoop today, Sept 7 around 4:30pm.

Best ice cream I have EVER tried. Salt caramel was so yummy. So creamy like gelato. I don’t know what they do it to make it taste so good!! I’ll always come here if I’m in the area

Got our order wrong and then he gave snarky remarks when asked about why we were given kids scoops instead of regular

I got the earl grey and honey on a waffle cone and it was the most exquisite flavour. I highly recommend it. My husband got the double chocolate raspberry and says it’s his current favourite. Staff were friendly and efficient. No line at 7pm on a Wednesday night in June. Pictures were taken after we’d been enjoying the cones for a while.

Vegetarian options: Some vegan ice creams.

Came here on a Friday afternoon sunny/partly cloudy warm spring day with my puppy, loved the selection of flavours ? I went with half scoops of black licorice and early grey honey on a waffle cone and my pup went with the doggy scoop. The ice cream was very creamy and smooth so it was a great texture, had great licorice flavour but earl grey I felt could have been stronger. My pup really enjoyed here first doggy scoop which consisted of a scoop of ice cream dotted with kibble and a huge half of a dog biscuit sticking out on top lol. Next time I’ll ask for a half portion as she definitely ate too much but she devoured the entire cup (which surprised me as she’s not usually a fan of biscuits) lol

It was the perfect day out at Lafarge lake for both myself my my dog to enjoy some sweet treats by the lake as the day was pleasantly cloudy with the sun peeking through as well as slightly windy to offset the warmth of the day ?

Great ice cream, good service and friendly staff, only issue is that they get too many dogs because of their K9 ice cream, and nit everyone is comfortable going in and out past tons of dogs.

Please don't put gum into bubblegum flavor. That's hard to eat... And doesn't make sense. Just add flavor.
