The food was good, service was good but the women's washroom isin need of some fixing. No door on the handicapped stall is a very bad thing . 2 of the other 3 had flushing problems?
Wow what a shambles this place has become. Nothing against the staff, and I love a good dive bar, but this is beyond any small repairs. Dangerous potholes (unmarked) in the main flooring (don’t wear heels ladies), ladies bathroom is dark, dirty and even one of the doors was completely off and leaning against the wall. Even the physical menus are in need of repair. I feel like Roo’s is one of those Covid long haulers and in need of some rest and medical attention. I realize the owners haven’t and haven’t wanted to put ANY money into this place (and it shows) so I guess a planned tear down can’t come soon enough.
Looking for a nice pub where one doesn't have to go right into Vancouver and yet almost all of the suburban pubs just seem to have boring, basic beers like tored Budweiser, Coors, etc on tap. Really?! If you're a local business, why not support local breweries and distilleries as well as giving patrons some choices that aren't stuck in the 1970's? Sorry if you're reading this hoping for an on site review but I'm not even going to try iy when it's so limited. I love to support local pubs and restaurants - I don't eat at any restaurant chain so it would be nice to the a small pub support the small too.
Very nice place, good service and food, reasonable prices
They definitely have THE BEST burger in town + friendly and nice atmosphere.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Really friendly and polite staff. Good food and atmosphere
We went there on this Wednesday. They had Karaoke, which was a good fun. The food was hot and delicious. The only issue was about the server whom was polite but NOT freindly, and replied our questions about drinks and food without any attention.Thank you
Roo's has great food and drinks, and Karaoke on Wednesdays is really fun. They also got a pool tabel and darts so there is lots to do there.
Good energy. Alex is a great bartender and made me feel so welcome ❤
Alright. I will go back to the pub and update my review as the guy there gave the best service I have had since being at Black + Blue. His service was equivalent if not better than what we received at one of Vancouver's top restaurants. The food at Roo's is pretty good qnd its really good value.I'm sorry to the guy who served us, I will update this with your name as soon as I can.

Staff and food were good. Not accepting entertainment coupons right now
Roos was fun and welcoming. I enjoyed the food and the service was great!! Bring back the pool tables and Roos will be my new favorite pub!!
The kitchen, bar, and serving staff are tightly knit, good people. Some of the food will knock your socks off (try the Cajun beef salad or the Carribean j*** wings), craft beer rotators and tons of seating area.
Didn’t know this place existed until I was unexpectedly on Christmas Way! Decided to try it out and it’s now on my list of top favourite pubs. I went for happy hour and tried the wings, spinach dip and popcorn shrimp. Everything was amazing. Also, cheapest pints of Sommersby I’ve ever seen! Highly recommend!
Underwhelming. We tried potato skins as an appie and then ordered two entries - stir fried vegetables with chicken and their fish and chips.Potato skins were deep fried potato wedges topped with some bacon bits and shredded cheese, then put in the oven. Garnished with a sprinkle of chopped spring onions. Sour cream and diced tomatoes on the side. Surprisingly, not super hot throughout the toppings.Stir fry was very greasy, overcooked and sweet, not spicy as described. Fish and chips were as expected in a pub. I would suggest to stick with the sandwich options.
