Very dirty bakery and Kebab restaurant.

It's expensive compared to other places, there's less rice, the kebabs are small and smell of lamb fat, and the owner is rude.

👉 But I wish the portion size stayed consistent too — feels like the breads have gotten smaller.

The bread, kebabs, and kale pacheh at Sahand Bakery & Kebab Hut are absolutely delicious! The owner, along with the staff are friendly, polite, and always willing to help. They all put so much care into making sure every customer is happy. Just think of this place as a spot to get takeout—don’t expect a dining experience—but the food and service are absolutely worth it!

The customer service is awful and they are very disrespectful

I bought sangak bread from this place, and when I got home, I saw it was full of mold. When I returned it, instead of apologizing, they said it was frozen bread! Very unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I’m really disappointed.

The absolute best barbari flat bread. Always fresh, with the perfect amount of crunch and pillowy soft inside. My go to place for this type of bread.

I can’t believe this place exists in Canada! No one from Canada Health or some organization never checked this place. Absolutely dirty everywhere and by the refrigerator smell of rotten meat. The kabab is poor quality. Feeling nauseous day after.

I have been coming here for years and always get the kobiddeh with bread. It is delicious, recommend it to everyone

Their Sangak (Persian bread) is great however their customer service is bad. At least I like his transparency of not providing good service and not seeking tip in exchange!

The ingredients at Sahand Backey and Kabab Hut are awful, especially the meat. It was inedible — I’ve never had such low-quality food. The koobideh kebab was raw inside and so tough that it was impossible to chew. The rice was also extremely hard and undercooked. It’s obvious that they use the cheapest and lowest-quality ingredients for everything .This place seriously needs to rethink what they’re serving.

I don’t get how this place has such a low rating. I was told about this place by a couple that drive all the way from Richmond to eat the food here.

While when I order a kebab with rice, that’s almost only all I get but it tastes AMAZING!!!

They know what they are doing! Great food and sangak bread! Take out might be your best option and the service and the indoor space might not suite everyone!
