Great service - very attentive. Food is so incredibly amazing I cannot even comprehend it. Katsu curry is so good it kills me and then I’m reborn. Every bite is better than the last somehow. I would eat here everyday forever if I won the lottery 100000000/10🤤🤤🤩🤩🤩🤩🫶🏼🫶🏼😫😭❤️❤️

Free refill of rice, cabbage, and miso soup. It costs around $30, but it’s totally worth it!

Hands down the best katsu I've had in Vancouver. It rivals Katsu-san in Richmond in terms of taste and quality. Furthermore the unlimited cabbage, rice, and even extra miso soup makes the price worth it. Top quality pork too. Very authentic pork cutlet that compared to Japan quality, even topping most chains.

The booking system is not accurate at all. Join the waitlist with 5 parties ahead it says 45-58mins wait time. In about 10 mins the table was ready. Rejoined the waitlist because the wait times says 45-58min again with 4 parties ahead. In 10 mins table was ready again. Finally, joined again 15mins before we arrive, 5 parties ahead again, wait time shows about 30mins. We had to wait over an hour this time to have a table for us. Don’t trust their wait time. It gives random estimates.
Honestly the katsu here is just awesome the breading is nice and doesn't separate from the meat. The choice of cuts are great and it's honestly my bar when it comes to local katsu. So far the quality is solid and comparable to Broadway location and the Richmond one!

Few update. Free parking for 2 hours. And make sure your spot is for commercials. And no ev charging spot.
One of best quality Katsu place(well traditional japanese style). they do have multiple locations for brand.
This one was well serviced. love the location. it is closer for most of east van area.
However this location is a lot smaller than any others same brand locations. it means you need to book the reservation. you can scan the QR for waitinglist. you can not book until 6pm for dinner reservation. and their closing is 9 pm. waiting list close by 8 pm. so if you plan to visit this location, you need to make proper plan.
that's only downside.
this location has Engilsh, Japanese and Korean speakers. so it's a bit more convenien than others.

Though we didn’t want to be that group of people waiting outside just as they opened, the staff were ready to go at exactly 5pm, and let us in right away!
Staff were attentive and kind, perfectly explaining the sauces, and fixtures of our meals.
I had the Chicken Thigh Katsu, and it was delicious! Will definitely try Saku’s Chicken Thigh Katsu Curry next time to spice things up! (My friend had the curry, and I tried a bit of the curry sauce and oh boy was it good!)
Definitely recommend! We spent about $20-$30 a person, and it’s worth it! Take a look at these portions!
It doesn’t look like they take reservations BUT they have a digital waitlist, you can find it when you search it up!

Very good katsu yet not quite worth 5 stars but well over 4. Not bad for a casual date spot. Parking could be confusing.

It’s famous for deep fried kasu but the curry sauce turns out to be unexpectedly good, becoming our favourite dipping sauce! Ordered 3 sets of kasu for sharing and we all left with a full stomach. This is a small shop, but it’s very stylish and clean.
