The store isn't very big, but the overall decor feels comfortable. Their deep fried dishes are done quite well—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and not greasy. The other side dishes are also fine. The only slight disappointment is their sauce; in my opinion, it’s a bit too mild, which is a pity given the high quality of their fried items. Overall, it's a pretty good restaurant and worth recommending.
Great katsu and has a fantastic plating and presentation. I prefer this place over katsuya in terms of taste and vibe. However I will say saku is considerably more expensive so take that into account. The only thing missing here is draft japanese beer!
So good, one of my favourite katsu places in the city. I’ve been to this place so many times and in many of their locations across the GVA area. I get the premium pork katsu combo most of the time and it’s delicious. Their fried fish one is also really good and I recommend. They also offer free refills on salads, rice and soup which is amazing and fills me up every time. The house made sesame dressing for the salad is the best.
