This place was pretty authentic, in my mind. We ordered the Sashimi Bibimbap (which I highly recommend), the Seafood Pancake and the Squid Tempura, all was fantastic. The portions were quite large as well. It looked like a mom and pop shop, but service was wonderful. Lots of Koreans were eating there, so I'm assuming it was authentic. Side dishes were also very delicious.
Large portions of japchae and pork bone soup that came with free side dishes. The jap Chae had the right amount of sweetness for me. and the pork bone soup really hit the spot. The server was super nice felt like an auntie~ I went just before lunch when lots of people started to trickle in. There were lots of Koreans there and I felt like I was transported to a warm shop in Korea like in those k-dramas haha.
We had a late lunch at around 2:30pm (still busy but no line up)…it took a while for the food to arrive but they were worth the wait!!!We had deep fried sole (2 big ones in one dish)….crispy but not too salty! Perfect to go with beer! Served with steamy pot of rice and miso soup.
